The Carhartt Men's 6" Waterproof Moc Toe Casual Wedge is not just a boot; it’s a commitment to comfort and durability. Crafted from high-grade oil-tanned leather, these iconic work boots have been designed with both style and function in mind. The dual-density Carhartt rubber outsole ensures full ground contact, providing exceptional stability and support.
One of the standout features is the Storm Defender waterproof breathable protection that keeps your feet dry in various wet conditions. The innovative waterproof and breathable membrane allows for airflow while ensuring moisture stays out, making these boots suitable for any job site or outdoor activity.

When it comes to work boots, the Carhartt Men's 6" Waterproof Moc Toe shines for its blend of comfort, performance, and durability. The soft toe design makes it a great option for those in less hazardous work environments while still providing decent protection against incidental electrical hazards.
The cushioning offered by the PU insole is remarkable. It not only supports your feet throughout long working hours but also significantly reduces fatigue, a common issue among workers who spend their days on their feet. Furthermore, the Goodyear welt construction promises longevity, allowing you to invest in a pair of boots that will withstand rigorous use.
The standout feature of these boots is undoubtedly their waterproofing capability. The Storm Defender membrane effectively keeps moisture at bay, ensuring that even in the rain or puddles, your feet remain dry and comfortable.
However, it's important to consider that the soft toe may not meet the requirements for everyone. If you're in an industry where safety toes are essential, you might want to explore alternatives. Additionally, while the boot is stylish, the limited color options could be a drawback for some.

A misunderstood boot for sure. If I wanted to splurge for Red Wings or other name brand boots in the $300-350 range, that is what I would have purchased. This is a semi-serious work boot in the $150 range. If you are a destroyer of boots these are not for you. To wear around the house and to go shopping in, to have good ankle support at age 66 makes these nigh on perfect.Recently I retired and no longer need anything more durable than these. I only purchased these for two reasons. Better support than sneakers and the hipster look that seems so popular. If I get 3-4 years of good comfortable service from these, wearing them an average of 3-4 hours daily, then these boots are money well spent. If they disappoint or exceed my expectations I'll mention it here in a update. Can't maintain Red Wings or other, often resoled premium brand boots for $40 a year. Their crepe type soles don't last any longer IME.The pros of the boots:Extremely comfortable. The leather is soft but not limp, and is easy to get on and off because the leather gives a little. Fits well across the upper side of the arch. Width is spot on, no pinching or slipping. The heel cup and arch are becoming comfortable after wearing about 5 times. There is plenty of room in the toe box without being sloppy.Cons:The size 13 is just a bit too large. I'm close though, a thicker sock makes them just right.Summary is simple, these boots fit great, are comfortable within a couple weeks and now that I'm retired look great at a fair price. Just as important as toughness in my new life.Update 5/23/2021:Have worn these now for 6 months and for approx. 150 hours. Still my go to choice for wearing for an day out and about. These are very comfortable boots. Soles show just a bit of wear and still have not had to polish these. Small scuffs rub out nicely with my Kiwi horsehair brush. Leather is still soft and supple but supports itself nicely. These boots get lots of compliments . Go figure.UPDATE: 03/11/2022Wore these over the winter quite a bit. Still Comfortable, Have Been Durable, Still getting lots of compliments.UPDATE: 10/15/2022Wore a few times over the summer, they still what I wear when I know I will be walking a lot. Very comfortable on long days running around. Winter is about here and I have worn them on cool days. My feet stay warm with Gold Toe boot socks. Update again next spring.UPDATE 10/15/2023It was a hot summer and rarely wore these. Got them out the other day and brushed off the leather. Still looking good but could use some conditioning. Still very comfortable. Still get compliments. Here's to warm feet this winter.
Ive bought two pairs of these and all i can say is they are confortable and they will last you for a while. If you need steel toe these are not for you, if you need comfort these are the perfect boot, they look good and materials are good quality
I've had these for abt 3 weeks now. I've been loyal to Thorogood for the past 3 yrs and have been through 4 pair. Sofar I can already tell these are wearing nicer. Spent some time on the knees for a week doing flooring toes scraping concert basement floor and they def have not scuffed as bad as the thorogoods. I like the center sole under this boot. That also is made of a different material that seems to be taking a good beating unlike the softer sole of the thorogood. Took abt 4 days of working in them to form and not cut into my ankles. Also shoveled snow last week in them and can say they were comfortable and my feet stayed nice and dry.
They are a quality fit and finish. Waterproof and warm. Heavy duty and it seems like the wear in period is longer than expected but they are comfortable.
True to size. Durable
Purchased these boots 10 months ago. I have worn them an average of 16-18 hours, 6 days a week. I work in equipment repair and they see gas, oil, diesel, chemicals, etc. They have never let me down!! I am placing an order to replace them because they are slam worn out. The stitching, materials, sole, have all held up perfectly. I have bought most other big brands over the years, they usually only last 6 months if I'm lucky. I will be buying these from now on!
Boots are true to size and are very comfortable.
These boots came up short. I sent them back, Narrow toe box, very stiff leather. They just don't feel like other moc toe boots I looked at. For this price I don't expect a thorogood, but after I took these back I bought a Duradero and it has been a far better boot than this, much more comfortable, and cost less (with a coupon they gave me just for asking.) I didn't give these a lot of wear because they hurt my feet (narrow), but just looking at them told me they weren't what I needed. There are a lot of good moc-toe boots on the market. These are just look-alikes.
