Nice quality leather and soft on the inside. Fits like a glove. The pic is the size 9.5 ballet slipper on a street size 8.5 shoe foot. As you can see the fit is slightly snug in the toe area. We are going to keep them as people say the leather stretches a bit to form to the foot. If it were canvas I would order a larger size. Comfy and well made slipper. Order 1 to 1.5 size larger depending on the type of fit you prefer.
I’ve ordered a couple of ballet slippers to find the best ones for me and these are perfect. They are just too small. So I’m going to get them in the bigger size. I’d say go 1- 1.5 size up from your regular shoe size!Update: the size 8 was defective - unfortunately one shoe was bigger than the other so I’m going to try and order another pair
Capezio have been my ballet slipper since I was a child. Returning to ballet after a long hiatus I found that the slippers run small and squeeze the toes. I am ordering another pair that is a size larger.
This is a nice quality product. Like others have said before me, size up at least 2 sizes. I wear a size 8 in womans shoes and the size 10 M fits me just right. The toe and heel pads are soft and allows you to grip the floor without slowing you down and the straps hold the slipper securely to your foot while still allowing flexibility. For an everyday practice shoe, I recommend these.
I love these! Since they are leather they were a little snug on first wear but after 2 ballet classes they have begun to form to my foot nicely. I ordered a half size up from my usual shoe size (usually a 7.5 ordered an 8). Expecting them to hold up nicely, the quality is impressive. I'm so excited to get back into ballet after almost 20 years!
Size up 1.5 from street size. Fits perfectly and great quality. Will buy again
First purchase was 1/2 size too small but had good quality construction & design.Replacement had slightly better fit but defective construction (bulging & uneven pleats).3rd pair was improved construction but still a bit tight. Hoping some use will stretch the soft leather im time.
It’s a very good quality and fits very well but it’s just the bow thing that’s a little annoying but it general you can buy the same one on the same brand but without the bow string thing
