The Capezio Women's Daisy Shoe Ballet Flat shines brightly as a beginner's choice in the world of ballet dancing. The soft leather upper allows for natural movement, while the full sole provides necessary support for new dancers just learning the ropes.
One of the key highlights is the shoe's design aimed at accommodating wider feet, which is often overlooked by many brands. This feature makes it particularly appealing for individuals who have struggled to find comfortable ballet shoes in the past.
The pre-attached elastics and drawstring add to the ease of use; you won’t need to fuss around with additional adjustments. Simply slip them on and you are good to go. With the daisy print lining, there’s also an element of style that resonates well with young dancers looking to express their creativity.
However, it’s important to note that if you have narrow feet, you might find the fit less than ideal. Additionally, the shoe offers limited color choices, which could be a downside for those looking for a variety in aesthetics.
Overall, the Capezio Women's Daisy Shoe Ballet Flat stands out as a solid option for beginner dancers seeking comfort and functionality in a stylish package.

I've started adult ballet (exercise) and needed some ballet shoes. I've never ordered shoes off internet before because I am hard to fit. I went ahead because I needed them immediately and the price was right. They came in exactly on time. I ordered an 8.5 medium (using some of the reviewer comments). My street shoes are usually medium to wide around the ball/toes and super narrow on the heel, and typically 8.5 in American made, but can range from 7.5 - 8.5 with others. These Capezio ballet slippers fit pretty well. Too wide at ball (and arch) of foot. I've pulled the elastic strings as tight as possible and that has helped. They fit pretty good, pulled tight for me to wear in class, but still a bit loose at the arch. They are a bit tight at the toes (length), but I expect them to loosen slightly with wearing. The way we are working in class, I imagine that I will need to purchase again. The next time I purchase Capezios, I will order 8.5 regular. I am pleased with the purchase and the quality.
Needed nude tone shoes for my daughters 5th grade musical and I ordered both the Capezio Daisy and the Bloch Dansoft. My daughter's foot length is 8.75ish inches, she wears street shoes medium width kids 4.5 / ladies 6.5. So I order according to reviews and / or charts. For the Capezio I ordered the 7.5 and a Bloch 4.5. Both are very good shoes,. The uppers are soft leather, the soles are suede, both outside length from heel to toe is about 9 inches, both has the tie bow to tighten. The differences you can see in my pictures. The color of the Capezio is more nude tone (Bloch is more pinkish), the inner sole is cloth material (whereas the Bloch inner sole is suede), the outer sole is longer than the Bloch and the top of the Bloch shoe is a tad wider. I think on both shoes I could have gone a size smaller or narrower and it would still fit. But I'm going to keep the Capezio and return the Bloch not because the Bloch is not a good shoe (it is very good and comparable) but because the color of the Capezio (nude) fitted our needs better and the fit of the Capezio felt less loose on her foot. Price was within a $3 difference ($22 to $25).
Great brand
I purchased this for my 12 year old daughter that decided to take ballet again after years of doing different dance styles. She wears a size 8 in women’s, and these were a little loose on the top. The length was fine, but I guess they are a bit too wide, even though I try to tighten them with the strings. Also, the strings are a bit long, but I guess I could cut them. It was also hard to get them to stay tied but it’s not bad.
I use these as bedroom slippers very comfortable, I can go outdoors with these as well, and I like that they don’t look like frumpy old lady slippers.
I purchased a pair of black ballet slippers for my young son. First, these shoes are fairly well made, with solid stitching and details. The black shoe leather and suede sole are made of nice, thick leather. However, in the pair my son received, there was a pea-sized spot of yellow glue on the inside white lining. So I had to deduct one star for somewhat sloppy craftsmanship. My son wears a 4.5 in ballet slippers, so I bought him a size 5. While the length was correct, with some room to grow for his toes, he struggled to try one shoe on. Turns out they are very narrow in the heel, then they widen in the middle to the toe. So they were too tight in the heel area and very uncomfortable. He didn't even try on the other shoe because of the bad fit. They were cut very strangely, which surprised me for such a well-known brand like Capezio. I don't know if we somehow got a factory-second or what. It was disappointing these shoes did not fit, because they were offered at such a great price here on Amazon. Where I live we have one dance store, so they charge exorbitant prices for their shoes and dance wear. We were hoping these shoes would work out so we could continue to order them on Amazon. For us, it did not.I must commend Amazon for offering a new Return program. Before, we would have to re-package the item ourselves, print out the label, then drop it off at a nearby UPS store. That was already very easy, but NOW, Amazon made it even easier--we printed out the Return Code, brought it in along with the slippers in their original box and packaging, and dropped everything off at UPS. You don't even have to re-pack the item; UPS will do it for you. Easy peasy! Another great reason why we shop online at Amazon. Hopefully we will find a brand locally that will fit my son--once we do, we will most likely purchase future pairs at Amazon, if the same style is offered.
I needed a flat dance shoe option to switch with my expensive shoes every now and then. These are perfect and I am shocked considering the low price. They fit nicely and adjust well with the elastic. I am normally a size 8-8.5 and size 8 fits me perfectly.
I got both the black and white ones. My regular shoe size is 8M, but based on previous comments by reviewers and the size recommendation on the page, I got one size up and Narrow. So I purchased the 9 Narrow. They are actually not as narrow as I thought they would be, and I had to tighten the drawstring to have them fit my feet. I have never gotten a narrow size in any shoe, but in this case, it was perfect. The shoes are soft leather outside and cotton inside, very soft and comfortable. They are not split soles, but the soles are soft and bendable. I highly recommend these shoes!
