The Capezio Women's Cadence Dance Shoes stand out for several reasons. Firstly, the construction quality is impressive; the shoe is made from 100% leather which not only enhances its durability but also provides a soft and comfortable fit around your foot. The interior is lined with polyester, adding another layer of comfort that many dancers appreciate.
Performance-wise, the signature Tele Tone taps create a rich sound that elevates any tap routine. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned performer, you'll notice the difference in tone quality compared to other brands. Additionally, the lightly padded collar and footbed ensure that you can perform for extended periods without discomfort.
On the downside, some users have reported that breaking in these shoes can take some time, requiring patience before they feel completely comfortable. Furthermore, the color choices are somewhat limited, which might be a consideration if you prefer variety in your wardrobe.

I ordered a half size larger and they fit perfectly. Very soft leather. Extra slip proof section on soles was nice. Taps sound good.
What an easy way to add some fun to your life -- just put on a pair of tap shoes and start clickety clacking across the floor. Capezio is a well-known name in the dance world, and these do not disappoint. For a very reasonable price, you get a leather oxford with a comfortable, cushiony lining. I was able to put these on and start dancing -- well, making noise -- immediately. There are plenty of tutorials and classes available on line, so it is very easy to get started. So much fun for a small price!
I ordered a 7.5, which is my true-to-size shoe size, and it fit wonderfully--not too tight or too loose. These shoes are so comfy. I'm a beginning/intermediate tapper, and right out of the box, I wanted to do a few little shuffles. I wear these through intermediate/advanced tap class which is about an hour each week, and for practice from time to time, and these shoes always stay laced, don't slip, and keep my feet sturdy so I can focus on the steps and not on "is my shoe going to twist my ankle???" I would definitely recommend these high-quality tappers for just about anyone who is looking for an oxford-style tap shoe.
I’m typically a size 8.5 heels, a 9 in sneakers and needed a 9.5 in these. Great tap shoes, no break-in needed, nice soft leather. For whatever reason the laces come undone on the right shoe but not the left, but I googled a special way to tie them and it doesn’t happen anymore.
I ordered every tap shoe Amazon sells under $150 and Capezio Cadence was the most comfortable.
I only just received these, but, I love them already. A great fit and so comfortable. These run true to size for both length and width. Can't wait to begin using them.
These shoes are so well made and comfortable! The inside has a nice soft felt, and upper is so soft. The sole and heel are very strong and well supportive. I am about a 6.5, sometimes a 7 in size, but the 7 was a bit short. I had to return them and get the 7.5. When in doubt, always go up a size. Other then that, they're fantastic!
I'm an intermediate tapper and initially ordered tap shoes that were twice the cost. The shoes were very heavy and though they fit well in the toe, my heels slipped out of the back while dancing. It was certainly not worth the price to have to "retrofit" tap shoes with moleskin, etc., so I returned them and purchased the Capezio Cadence. Such an improvement! Not only were they half the cost of the first pair, they fit like a dream and are much lighter in weight, though the tap sounds are loud and clear. I wear a size 8 1/2-9 and ordered these in a 9.
