When it comes to choosing the right ballet shoe, comfort and flexibility are paramount, and Capezio's Juliet Ballet Shoe excels in both areas. The craftsmanship shines through, particularly in the soft leather exterior, which molds effortlessly to the foot. This shoe is ideal for dancers who seek a snug fit without sacrificing mobility.
The adjustable elastic straps are a game-changer, providing you with the ability to customize how tightly the shoe hugs your foot. With a patented seamless arch, the shoe adapts beautifully, enhancing your overall performance by allowing fluidity in movement. One of the key highlights is the suede sole, which does not only add durability but also ensures you glide smoothly across the floor.
On the flip side, some dancers may find that the shoes require a break-in period before achieving ultimate comfort. Additionally, the elastic straps being unattached could pose a minor inconvenience for those who prefer a more integrated design.
Overall, the Capezio Women's Juliet Ballet Shoe offers remarkable quality, aesthetic appeal, and functional features that make them a solid investment for any serious dancer.

I bought these wanting a "studio shoe" for zumba and something to wear around the house to keep my feet clean (I tend to always go barefoot, can't stand stuff on my feet). I remembered wearing these as a little girl, and like the way they looked, plus they are way cheaper than the trendy barefoot shoes on the market. I've been wearing them maybe a month now and they are absolutely perfect. I kind of botched sewing the straps on - either that or they stretched, I don't know, but it really doesn't matter as the shoe fits like a glove without them needing to secure anything. The tie is basically a drawstring, so that sort of customizes the fit. They are very attractive on the foot, following the arch like a second skin. They are perfect for zumba, I don't get hung up on my sneaker soles anymore. They keep my feet warm and comfy, and clean! at home. I've worn them every day since I got them and they are holding up great. The biggest issue I have is that they sent me PINK even though I ordered BLACK. The box said black, so I guess they need to take a peak inside more often. As it turned out, they were so comfortable I couldn't bring myself to send them back so pink it is. It's fine, they look pretty with jeans, and I will probably want another pair anyway, so hopefully my next try at black will work out better. I normally wear size 11, and after reading the reviews decided to go up half a size - this worked out great for me, they were perhaps the tiniest bit tight at first, but as the leather gives a bit they feel like a custom fit now. Highly recommend these ballet slippers!
I wear an 8 1/2 in most shoes and have very narrow feet. Capezio is usually the only dance shoe brand that will fit me. I ordered both an 8 1/2 and a 9 in these and sent the 9 back. The 8 1/2 did feel a little tight at first but the leather will stretch and you want it to mold to your foot. The leather is very soft and supple. I really like the way the arch piece is shaped--it is very flattering to the foot. The name of the color is deceiving--there is nothing "rose" about these shoes. These are NOT pink ballet slippers. If you're wanting a shoe to match pink tights, these are not the right color. However, they do match my Capezio tights in Light Suntan. Since I wear tan tights, these look better than traditional pink ballet shoes.
I needed some ballet shoes for an adult beginner class and I picked these based on all the various reviews, but the real challenge was figuring out my size. So I read all the reviews and figured that I should order 1 size up since most said using street sizing wasn't accurate. I'm a size 7 (sometimes 7.5 if I need some extra space in the shoe) and I have a very narrow foot, so I ordered a size 8 in the rose quartz. PERFECT FIT! There isn't any additional space in the heel and my toes have enough room to move but not too much room that it feels loose. Even the arch is perfect, I have a natural high arc in my foot and this slipper molds perfectly to it.The leather is nice and smooth, feels good to the touch. I do like how the drawstring can be tightened just in case but I will be cutting the string shorter since its too long. The straps are pre-sewn. I will say that the rose quartz isn't really any type of pink/rose shade, its more of a light tan color which is great for me. I'm darker and wear flesh colored tights so its a better look than pink slippers. I can't gush enough about these slippers, as soon as I opened the box at my desk I put them on and haven't taken them off yet, they are that comfortable.
I wear a size 7.5 street shoe, occasionally a 7, even rarer an 8.A 7.5 in this is just way too small - to the point that I knew I would need an 8.5, at least. That's what I ordered (8.5! - that sounded huge!), and although it was very snug when I first put it on, I wore them one evening just in the house, then to dance the next day - perfect. Seriously, go at least a half-size bigger than your normal size. If your feet are very narrow, that might be enough, if they are wide, you may need more. For me, a whole size was just right. Great shoe, more of a dusky / Old Rose than baby pink, they allow your feet to arch really well - and show that off well too!4 out of 5 stars only because of sizing issue.
The length is a little short, but the fit is very tight. I'm going to buy a different pair in a larger size and wider. The quality seems good.
These run narrow and small. I wear a size 5 street, most ballet slippers I order in street size run large except for these Juliet slippers. These fit snug and narrow, which is good for my feet. My toes were slightly curled but the sheep skin leather will stretch. I love the thin leather although it may not last as long as Bloch's Dansoft slippers. The Rose Quartz color is a nude color, darker than in the picture. beautifully made ballet slipper for all levels, really shows off arches and no bagging in the toes during tendu combos. Sleek and nice arch conformity, soft cotton lining, well padded sole patches, and durable drawstring. Only negative is the stitching on the pre-sewn elastics look poorly done. I had to reinforce the stitching just in case. Wonderful shoes, will buy again.
I can only give these three stars because of the color. They're so tan it almost made me cry. Sounds silly. But, bringing ballet back to my life was a huge goal for me. Capezio were the only shoes I had as a girl so of course they're the only I would consider. The color is called "rose gold" but there's no pink to it. I think "golden tan" would be more appropriate.
