The Capezio Women's Cadence Tap Shoe is more than just a stylish accessory for your dance wardrobe; it’s an investment in your performance capabilities. Let's break down the key aspects:
Design: Featuring a sleek silhouette, the Cadence tap shoe is crafted with a soft leather upper which not only provides robustness but contributes to the elegant look needed on stage. The tapered heel accentuates your leg line, making every movement graceful.
Comfort: This shoe stands out when it comes to comfort. The lightly padded footbed and collar alleviate pressure points, allowing dancers to focus on their routine rather than their feet. However, some users note that the shoes may need a short break-in period to maximize comfort levels.
Performance: The sound produced by the Tele Tone taps is rich and clear, adding depth to your routines. They respond well to various tempos, making them versatile for different dance styles. Whether practicing or performing, the sound quality ensures you will be heard.
Fit: Sizing can be tricky, especially for those used to traditional footwear. It's advisable to follow the guidelines—women should begin with their street shoe size plus half, while men should opt for two sizes up.

These tap shoes orchestrated a symphony of delight as my daughter merrily tap-tapped her way through our home. They aren't just a pair of shoes; they are a harmonious masterpiece of craftsmanship. From the very first step, they embraced her feet with a perfect fit, ensuring every movement was in tune. In these tap shoes, I found the embodiment of perfection, a shoe that not only fits flawlessly but also sings with the melodious rhythm of tapping feet. They've transformed our home into a stage, and my daughter into a tap-dancing star!
I have been dancing most of my life and took formal dance classes (ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary) until I was about 26. I am now almost 47 and decided I wanted to get get back into tap dancing again. I always loved how fun and free it felt. Fast forward to finding tap shoes....Y'ALL it took about 8 pairs and 4 weeks to find these. I ordered everything from Theatricals to Capezio....The Theatricals are SO STIFF, so beware. I don't have young feet anymore and I need something that is flexible and comfortable....enter Capezio. I remember having tons of Capezio stuff in my formal dancing days, so I figured I would try them out. WELL, BINGO! These are soft, flexible, and most of all TRUE TO SIZE. I am a size 6, and bought a size 6. They fit me perfectly. Hope this helps someone looking for quality tap shoes that are also comfortable!
these are the softest, most comfortable, most amazing tap shoes I have ever owned. To be fair, I've only been tapping about 3 years, but this is my 3rd pair and by far my favorite. I did have to tighten 3 screws as soon as they arrived because the heel taps were a bit loose but it's possible that happened during shipping. I've used them nearly a dozen times since they arrived and haven't had to tighten the screws once. Can't recommend enough.
I had previously ordered a pair of Bloch's 2 sizes up from my normal 7 1/2 street shoe and returned because they were too small. So after reading all the reviews of these Capezio tap shoes, I was a little nervous. I ordered an 8 wide, because I am a little wide in the toe box, and I'm happy to say, they fit perfectly with a thin pair of socks. They are well made, the leather is soft, and the taps sound great. Thanks Capezio.
I bought these for my daughter. She wears a size 10 street shoe. We orginally ordered an 11, but returned them for a 10.5. They really support her shoe and she really likes them.
Glad I tried my size in a wide. Now my toes aren’t getting squished in my shoes.
Style my daughter has used on comp team for years.
The shoes are nice. The only issue I have with them is the laces are short and they come untied easy.
