I have always wanted a pair of Gold shoes that wouldn't look to tacky or cheap! These are it.love them and will also use them for this New Years with a black jumper!Must buy if you have always wanted a pair too!!
I purchased the CK Kirsten pump prior to finding these and the only difference as I can tell is that the Gayle has a more comfortable sole insert as well as a rubber outside sole. I returned the Kirsten’s since I could only find them in a 6 and they were a little too big (my heel size is 5.5 but sometimes I can get by with a 5 or a 6 depending on the brand). I read great reviews on the Gayle and luckily Amazon had them in a 5.5. Lots of reviews state that the shoe runs small but here are few things to consider before buying a size/half size up:-The pumps will stretch a bit the more you wear them-The 5.5 (my go-to size for heels) fits better than the 6 did, even with heel inserts-If you have a wider foot, then definitely get a bigger size. If your foot is normal width, stick to your true heel sizeUltimately, I’m very happy with my purchase. I work at a bank and do quite a bit of walking around during day and the 3in heel is perfect. There is virtually no break-in period either, they are super comfy from the get-go! The only complaint I have is that the heel tips themselves wore down very quickly...within a few months. I try to alternate my work heels so that I don’t put too much wear and tear on any one pair. You can’t beat these for comfort, but BR’s Madison 12-hour pumps seem to be more durable.
I needed a pair of red pumps, and it was really tempting to go with something cheaper, but I’m glad I found these. I’m seven months pregnant, but still trying to look stylish and not frumpy, and these were just the right fit. They are really well-padded so they are quite comfortable for a pair of heels. They do seem to be more narrow than other shoes I have in this size and width, but this might just be the design of the toe box as they are a pointy shoe.
They fit well as expected and the leather is soft and nice color blue.
I ordered the red patent which are perfect in heel height and vibrant in color. I usually wear size 8 in closed toe shoes. I ordered a size 8 and they fit well. I also ordered the black leather and it looks like the shoe was worn. Wrinkled on the side and you can see where it could have been repaired. When paying $80 on a shoe, you want it to look brand new. So glad the red patent are good. Im definitely returning the black. I may have to get them elsewhere. Then on top of that the Amazon person delivered my packages to my neighbor. Thank goodness I was able to track my package and immediately saw it in front of my neighbor’s door.UPDATE: I returned the black pumps that were damaged or seemed to be used. They received the shoes on November 17th and have not refunded me. I’m not happy with Amazon or this store. I will never order from this store again. Very disappointed.
