The sole of the shoe is normal, yet the lift is hidden inside the shoe. There's really no way to tell externally.For me I like the laces longer so I can double knot them and as stated there medium width, it would be nice if they had a wider option.

This is a quality shoe. Very well made and fits great. Gonna buy another color and maybe even the dress shoes. I recommend this brand. You won't be disappointed.
Great style however Per husband, not comfortable, feels like you have wooden block strapped to his foot. Will be returning product.
Ok laces broke bad inserts and bad insole last less than a month
