Styles with a lower heel height will be more discrete. How is shaft measured? We measure the shaft height from the bottom of the footwear to the top of the collar or highest point. So, a low top will have a lower shaft height.

heel slippage
i went with size 8 since their casual shoes fits me ok on 8 but leather on these a little hard to break in its painful on feet. shouldve went with size 9. shaft height shouldve been 6.75 inche instead of 5.25inch. so it wraps around ankle to prevent heel slippage. also the sole doesnt grip great on wet floor. these are the things they should upgrade on their newer version. the shoe is over all great hope it is durable
