First thing I noticed is that these elevator shoes do smell like genuine leather, so I do believe these are made with genuine soft pebble leather. They are inner lined with pig-skin (look at my pics). The soles are made with rubber. I put them on and I actually measured myself to be almost 3 inches taller (Look at my pics again). They come with a pair of shoe insoles to make wearing them more comfortable.Pros:- Made with authentic leather,- you immediately grow 3 inches taller!- they are well made and I am sure they will last a long time- great quality materials, insoles, and stitchingCons- they are a bit stiff, but I thing once they are broken in, they will be fine.- These are way too expensive - at the time of this review they cost 170 dollars - but I am on the vine program to these were sent to me to make this review.- Since these are elevator shows, which make you taller because they have a high heel hidden inside, your feet will be pointing downward with the heels higher than the toes, and will make you get tired if you walk too much in a day (think of a woman's high heel shoes how she feels after a day's worth of walking!).They are true to American sizes. I have a 10" size foot, and they came in as 10 inches long, so they are true to size. They only thing that would keep them from buying them is their price.
The shoe leather started flaking after 2-3 months, though highly comfortable. Looks good too.
At 5' 10" I don't feel like I'm vertically challenged, but when I saw these I actually loved the look and style. So the added benefit of being over 6 feet with them on was a bonus. The arrived and I was immediately impressed with the strong delicious smell of leather exuding from the box. The sneakers themselves have heft and seem to be made of high quality leather. With so many eyelets, having the zipper on the side is a real benefit to getting them on and off more easily. I'm partial to wool socks that are a bit thick but that I find extremely comfortable, so with those socks on the fit was a bit snug in my size 11's. I prefer the look of a boot or sneaker if the laces can be drawn fairly tight so that the eyelets are not far apart. These shoes seem to run just a bit on the narrow side and with the bulkier socks, I found the laces and eyelets a bit farther apart than I would prefer making them look more like hiking boots than sneakers. It's difficult to get an accurate height measurement, but I returned to grade school and tried to mark my height without the shoes and then with the shoes on. I didn't see a full 3 inch increase, but more like 2.5. There's no weird adjustment to your way of walking but I could definitely tell a difference in how I was walking. A dynamic I suppose I'll be acclimated to over time as I get used to the different feel. Overall, I like these a lot and now looming over 6' tall is a novelty I enjoy. I do wish they was a bit more generous with the length of the leather of the side partitions so the eyelets could be positioned a bit closer, but that wouldn't be a deal breaker. If you're in the market for this style sneaker, why not spring for that extra lift these give. The price is not unreasonable and almost half of other leather sneaker/boots I have, so I think they represent a good value as well. Recommended.
These ankle high boots are top quality and very stylish. The heel is heightening but you can’t tell visually so they take a bit of getting use to but it really adds to your hight and your self confidence. Give them a try if you feel like you need to be taller. I did and I like them a lot there isn’t anything negative about these boots that I can complain about.
Whether you need lift shoes like these for a medical reason or purely for your own vanity, these are good quality lift shoes that look great. They conceal what they are very well and they certainly to work well. They seem to be made very well too.
If you like the outer layer of your shoes to be pretty stiff/strong initially, these shoes might be for you.I love the quality of these, and they are pretty comfortable for what they are.The look is fantastic, the shine these have is fabulous, and overall, I'm really happy with it.Long story short, the value here is great. Love the quality and this is definitely something I appreciate.
I did a very accurate height increase analysis of these shoes and the actual lift is 2.5 inches. That being said, I am happy with the lift amount as I wanted to just appear a bit taller, not some huge amount. I have been wearing these all day and they are decently comfortable. I chose my regular size 12 and they fit fine with medium thickness socks. I love the side zip that allows me to get them on and off very quickly. Because of the lift, they take a little bit of getting used to, as I sometimes feel like I am tilting forward, but after all day, my movement is more normal. The style is decent, but I think the white heel would look less clunky if they tapered it down in the middle so it doesn't look like such a huge platform. I did receive a catalog from Calto, and it looks like they have a lot of styles. I am going to order another more stylish pair. One big con for me is that the upper section for the eyelets is much too far apart, making the shoelaces stand out too much and making the shoe look wide.
