After 6 months the Velcro wore out. The side zipper is not durable for useful boots
They were as advertized
I only received about 2 1/2 inches of lift from these shoes. As such, I returned them. Also, as a side note, I don't believe they would hold up well to motorcycle riding. The leather is poor quality (if it's leather at all), and the boots - in general - just seem to be what one might expect from a Chinese supplier (cheap). I replaced these CALTO's with a pair of high-quality Dan Post square toe boots that I ordered 1/2 inch too large to accommodate 1 1/4 inch suede inserts. I purchased the inserts from Tallmen Shoes via Amazon, and I'm happy with them. The combination of high quality boots plus the inserts gave me the same height as the CALTO's.
I wear size 8. So I ordered the 7.5 size. But it's still too big. It's the size of 8.5.
I read an earlier post saying these shoes ran large - I found this not to be true and had to exchange them for my regular size that fits correctly. I bought these because I wanted to not have to lower my bike and these do the trick.
Zipper on right boot was difficult to operate and then once fully zipped, the zipper broke loose when I try walking with the boots on. The “leather” is very plastic looking and the shifter reinforced areas did not seems like they would hold up for very long. I literally receive these boots, tried them on and then took them to the UPS store to return. other than trying them on/walking in them I can’t say anything else about them.
Great idea. These are nicely made boots that delivers on the height increase promise. However, they do fit uncomfortably loosely so I am exchanging them for a smaller size pair. I highly recommend these boots be ordered a size smaller than what is normally worn.
