The Born Temple II boot is a standout addition to any woman's wardrobe, designed to blend comfort with contemporary elegance. With its rich navy color and handcrafted elements, this boot transcends seasons and occasions. It boasts intricately stitched details that enhance its classic design while offering a modern twist that appeals to today's fashion-forward individuals.
The boot features a sleek distressed leather upper, making it not only visually appealing but also durable enough for daily wear. Whether you are dressing up for a night out or looking for something chic yet casual, the Temple II boot is versatile to meet your style needs.
Boot Model | Upper Material | Closure Type | Footbed Features |
---|---|---|---|
Born Temple II | Leather | Lace-up | Removable cushioned |
Clarks Emslie Lulin | Leather | Slip-on | OrthoLite footbed |
Frye Melissa Button | Leather | Button | Soft leather lined |
When it comes to comfort, the Born Temple II Navy boot exceeds expectations. The removable soft fabric suede covered footbed is a highlight, providing extra cushioning that keeps your feet feeling pampered throughout the day. The cork-infused midsole adds a unique touch, enhancing shock absorption and overall comfort.
The boot's construction also deserves praise. Born’s Opanka hand-crafted method results in a more flexible and lightweight structure, allowing for natural foot movement while walking. As you slip into these boots, you'll appreciate the breathable lining made from soft suede and leather that prevents overheating during extended wear.
From a style perspective, the Temple II boot shines. Its navy hue makes it easy to pair with denim or tailored pants, transitioning seamlessly from day to night. The braided accent strap complements its sleek look without overwhelming the design.
However, it's important to note that some users reported a slight stiffness initially, which is typical with high-quality leather products. After a short break-in period, most find that the comfort improves significantly. Furthermore, while the design is beautifully crafted, the limited color options might be a drawback for those seeking variety.
Overall, the Born Temple II is a commendable choice for women looking for a stylish yet comfortable boot for everyday use. Its combination of modern aesthetics and traditional craftsmanship makes it a worthy investment.

Love everything about this boot, removable insoles, soft but thick leather, a boot that can make a size 9/12 look small, fantastic! Also so comfortable, no break in needed, + I have sensitive feet w/multiple issues. True to size, hard thing to find today. Have been wearing Born shoes for years, really quality materials + workmanship. Vendor sent USPS, was very fast, have ordered from them again. Thanks!
Good looking, good quality. So glad to be able to order Born shoes from Amazon.
I was looking for a pair of darker red leather shoes that are cute and would not press against my bunion. These fit that bill. They are indeed very cute, and they get major stars for comfort. I read that they run a bit small. I wear 7 or 7.5 so ordered a 7.5. The 7 would have been fine, even with my bunion. The leather is so soft that it immediately started conforming to my foot. No issues whatsoever width-wise -- that seems very adaptable to any foot width due to the way the laces are sewn as well as the softness of the leather. Length-wise, again, I would say that they are true to size and I probably would have been fine with a 7. My only quibble is that they are a bit pricey.
Loved every thing about these so glad I purchased Im 68 yrs. old. These are comfortable, slip proof, well made and light weight.
Very comfortable and look great with jeans.
Love the fit and color. I would definitely recommend these boots!
The boot was too short for me in my regular size. I could have ordered 1/2 size up but it was also too big around the top. If I tightened the string, the tongue was all bunched up. Cute, though.
I wasn’t sure at first, but after wearing them a few days, they broke in nicely and are very comfortable. Very good quality. I’m very happy with my purchase.
