Had another Born pair of boots that lasted a long time and reluctant to throw them away. I got these for the side zip to see if they fit better since the (Chelsea?) style boots get a little loosey goosey around the ankle over time. These seemed a bit pricey but I got them anyway since my others have lasted so long and feel so comfortable (or at least lets just say I forget I have them on, which is good :). These seemed a bit stiff the first day but are great now and feel well made. They look a bit like you could hang out with bikers or pirates shoe-wise but look good enough for dressing up. I would think these could benefit from some kind of oil or conditioning to protect them from water or snow. Would buy again! Oh yeah, ample room in the toe bed for those of us without pointy elf feet :)
Size 10.5 M Brown - These are very comfortable. The leather is really soft and I can already tell the break in period will be short. They fit really well; tighter in the right places and loose where needed, such as, the side and back of the boot. This makes it easy to put on and take off. Tighter in the front and on the top which seems to reduce slipping often caused by Chelsea or side-zip ankle boots. Plenty of room in the toe box and the zipper seems to be on the heavier side and well constructed. I hope these last a long time because I really like these boots.

Had many pair of BÖRN boots and shoes. Great quality in most cases. These boots are good but very tight and narrow.
