Bogs are great. Easy to slip on and off to run outside. I like the one piece construction. The other pair of boots that I had (from the big box farm supply store) only lasted a couple of years before they came apart and leaked. I wished I'd bought the taller Bogs, because I'm now in the middle of NY State winter and sometimes get snow in my boots. But, hey, we're all idealistic before the snow flies, aren't we!
Use for yard work. Easy on and off. Good support. Little heavier than some.
Bought these for the rain but honestly they're tough enough for snow. A bit heavy but I've had worse. They run large so I sized down (normally a women's 9 and I ordered an 8) and they're they are the tiniest bit snug, but still very comfortable. Lots of squishy padding on the inside that I hope will compress a bit over time to create a little more wiggle room
These bogs are Nothing like the previous pair I owned. The foot area is very heavy and thick. There's a very noticeable, weird bump in the toe (footbed) area on the left boot making it uncomfortable to walk. I loved my previous pair. They slipped on like butter and were very comfortable to walk in. Disappointed ☹️ that the design of these boots have changed.
I’ve been wearing Bogs boots for years, and the style available is now referred to as classic. This newly-styled neo mid boot is well made with an outer one piece shell that reminds me of Muck boots. Here’s the issue: I am generally a true sz 8, and have been w/all the Bogs’ boots I’ve purchased over the years. The fit of this boot is crazy! The length is just right, but my feet totally swim in these otherwise. I know they’re supposed to be roomy but dang. I know, however that a 7 would probably not fit due to the length. So rather than return these otherwise lovely & functional boots, I reached out to Bogs’ customer service explaining the sitch. Nice gal is sending me insoles gratis. Hope it improves the fit.UPDATE: The insoles did the trick. Perfect fit now.
