UPDATE: I have had these for not even 3 months and the side wall has cracked, despite light usage. I will use shoe goo to repair the damage (it is split where the grey rubber meets the gum paste wall) and hope it fixes the problem. These are expensive waterproof boots, and with their defect are rendered useless. I rescind my recommendation--DO NOT buy these boots!ORIGINAL: These are seriously adorable and the fit is just right. I'm a 12W so finding shoes is a nightmare, and these were like Cinderella's slipper. They are truly waterproof, although I haven't stepped in water deep enough to test the sides. They have a rubber lining with a slit down the middle (see attached pics) so I bet they would be fairly water resistant. These are definitely slate blue and not really dark grey (it's hard to capture in the photos though). Also, the pull tabs break very easily and are essentially useless. They are easy to get on though.
This is my 3rd pair of BOGS. Quality and comfort of the boots just keep bringing me back. These are incredibly comfy and warm and super cute. I can even wear these to the office. They fir true to size. I've read that these can be difficult to put on and take off but I don't have that problem.
After a few months the sole of the shoe completely separated. The shoes started leaking water when I wore them in the rain almost immediately. I thought boggs were supposed to be well made rain shoes but apparently not. Definitely go somewhere else for a waterproof shoe.
