I have been buying these boots for over 10 years. They last really well, are warm in the winter and comfortable in the summer. I wear them all the time.. I think some people think I sleep with them on.. Ha Ha. Just a great all round outdoor/barn boot.
I love that I can add more arch support but that it has some already. And the footbed is completely removable. They're warm enough for snow and ice, working outside in winter or just traversing a muddy field to grab a tool or firewood. They feel much tighter than my often used, several year old pair but I know it's the correct size cuz back with my first set I got the size 8 and size 9, kept both for different applications. Over time, the 8 stretched to allow more room so i always wore those regardless of the outdoor temperature or which sock thickness I wore. I have rarely worn the size 9 but may now with thick socks this winter. Order your usual size. I have a narrow foot and it's a very cozy fit for a insulated waterproof boot. The two sets of boots are new never yet worn vs. hard, muck and hike use over three years. That's why I had no real resistance in ordering the same pair again. If they no longer carried this model I wouldn't have used the same manufacturer.
Quality and value. They last for a really long time. Great arch support for walking. I like mine a size up.
Ok first off. These for great. Sometimes it's hard to find size 12 women's boots. They are warm and waterproof. I am having problems with the traction for they are no good out on the farm. Back to square one.
We ordered several of the Bogs boot in various adult and children's sizes. In years past, we have had Croc boots for the grandchildren, but their little feet and ankles would develop sores with those boots. That is totally unacceptable. The neoprene uppers are what sold me on this boot. I have had many wet suits, of neoprene in the past, and it is a material that never creates sores on the body. As soon as I saw this included in the description of the boot, I knew this would solve our boot problems. We all have wide feet and found the boots to fit true to size. Our grandkids love them, one of them saying; "Grandma, see how fast I can run, now." Can't ask for anything more than that. Soft, resilient, waterproof! Great product!
I love these boots! I previously ordered and had to return due to fit issues one pair of Muck boots, and two pairs of Bogs. I almost gave up, but thought I'd try one more time, and scored with this pair! Although they are described as an insulated "rain boot", I have used them a lot to shovel/trudge through snow, with no problem. With thicker socks, they are comfortable and warm. And it is so easy to slip the boots on, as well as take them off ( no laces..yay!!). When Spring comes, I will love wearing my Bogs while working in my soggy yard, and tending to my pond ( that's what I initially ordered them for). I highly recommend this boot!
I needed boots urgently. Received these, clearly worn before: dirty, dusty, with scratched soles filled with dried sand. They've been sold as new. I had to return them, and now I am waiting for a snowstorm without boots.
I've worn these boots for years, wearing out several pairs. I know nothing stays the same but nonetheless I'm disappointed in the changes to this boot style since my last pair in 2016. The ones with major impact for me: 1) the heel is significantly wider and 2) the foot is "straight last" design instead of slightly curved. Other changes: 1) height of the boot on the calf is less by about an inch 2) the circumference around the top is smaller, maybe by about an inch. If you had trouble getting it around your calf before it will be tighter now. It feels the same weight and looks like the same materials. The graphic design of the label inside is different too so maybe they changed manufacturers. I think this boot only comes in full sizes (US) so I can't go down a half size to see if that works better. See if you can try them on at a store before making the decision.Edit after wearing: The changes to the upper proved to be problematic - the top is not only smaller around, it is more rigid and curves inwards. I wore these three times and ended up with abrasion on my leg, three quarters of the way around, that happened even through stockings and jeans that were tucked into the boot. You can see the differences between older and new in the images, old boot on the right and new one on the left - shorter and snugger. In a quick glance, it doesn't look that much different but it feels really different. I also just noticed that the material on the sole is starting to shred. Too bad. These were excellent long-wearing warm and waterproof boots in the past. I'm returning this pair for a replacement but I guess we'll see if the next pair has the exact same flaw.
