love the idea of a waterproof suede leather espadrille-ish black loafer. nice looking, but a couple of problems. have inside liner seams that are located below ankle knobs - which means they drill holes in the skin there if worn barefoot, which this style suggests. the tab at the back in the black suede is staining my foot there. this is concerning with the claim of waterproof. good news is i wore them with double socks for a while, applied dot bandaids on self, molekskins on shoe & put in heel guard to elevate my foot a little higher to move the top of the annoying seam clear of my ankle knob slope. i'm using clothes pin while not wearing shoe to move the tab away from my foot & may just cut them off. i do like the insole, which is fully removeable & so when traveling can be used in your other shoes also.
I love my blondos and I love espadrilles so I really wanted to love these shoes. Unfortunately it just wasn't meant to be - the color is really nice but the fit was just off. The toe box / length of shoe was fine but the middle of the shoe was super loose and the heel also didn't fit right. Had to return which is unfortunate.
These are not mens shoes.
Tight for me
My feet end up hurting after wearing them for a while. They get dirty easily and not not that cute
I'm a men's 8 extra wide, but I can wear a regular width 8 if the shoe is pliable enough, so I ordered what was listed as men's 8 on this product's page. The product that arrived was not a men's 8. In fact it wasn't a numerical shoe size at all. It had a tag that listed it as "small" and nothing else. I couldn't get my foot into it . No idea how comfortable it would be if it fit.
Half size too large and wider than expected. I’m a typical size 8. Footbed can be removed to use your own Insert. Sad as they are cute.
