This remarkable tap shoe excels in both comfort and performance, making it an excellent choice for dancers at any level. The Bloch Mega tap technology provides a crisp sound that resonates beautifully, crucial for any tap performance. Dancers will appreciate the rich tonal balance crafted from the dual sound properties – vibrant in the toe and resonant in the heel. In terms of aesthetics, the shoe combines functional design with a modern flair, making it suitable for both rehearsals and casual outings.
The materials used, primarily 100% leather, provide a snug yet flexible fit that adapts well to foot movements. However, potential buyers should heed the sizing advice — going half a size to a full size up can significantly enhance comfort. Additionally, while the leather offers durability and style, it does require regular maintenance to keep it looking pristine.

I bought this for a dance number in a choir performance. I usually have a hard time with women’s shoes because my feet are wide. These fit very well and were very comfortable. Plus they are super cute and the little heart tag added a little flair.
Daughter needed a pair for class these held up in like others where's shes broken in a few classes . Would by again
The size guidelines on the Amazon product page is not good. It says a US 6.5 would be equivalent to Bloch tap women's 7. But on Bloch's own website it says a 6.5 street shoe is 7.5 Bloch tap shoe. I went with 7.5 but it was still too small. Finally, the 8 fits. I don't think it's my feet. When I received the size 8 I measured it with a ruler and against my 6.5 street shoes, they are the same size.
I love these! They were recommended by my tap teacher since they are most affordable but also very good sounding. I only wear bloch, and I am finding them comfortable to dance in, and they look fantastic! I feel like Fred Astaire! You can definitely stand out in these.
I really like these shoes and they are a nice pair of tap shoes for the price. The sound is amazing. Very crisp. They aren’t a really heavy shoe. I hate the laces. I find that no matter what I do one lace is always significantly shorter making it difficult to tie. They run small. I take a 6.5 and had to get a whole size up 7.5 to fit me. I couldn’t even get my feet in the size 7. But definitely recommend these shoes and love the black and white design.
I love these taps shoes. They are adorable and comfortable. Order a whole size up.
I was so excited for these because it was my first time splurging on a pair for myself. They make a beautiful deep sound on wood floors, which is great! However, I’ve only had them for a month and they’re falling apart already. The screws are too short in the heel and the metal piece keeps coming loose. I’ve tried using super glue and tightening the screws as best I could, but to no avail… I’m very disappointed.Update - I’ve had the shoes for 5 months and I’m still experiencing problems with these shoes. Even after super gluing everything as best I could, I’ve officially lost a screw. I’m doing my best to make them work because it’s not in my budget to buy new ones. I’m very disappointed in the company for producing such poor quality shoes.
Purchased by my wife, an avid tap dancer, who absolutely loves them and she has become the envy of her tap group. They fit her perfectly and they are strictly of the highest professional quality. The entire sole and heel of these shoes are metallic, thus the shoes are quite rigid and the taps are very strong and loud. These tap shoes are not for beginners as they can be quite slippery on certain dance floor surfaces. However they are quite beautiful, very well made, and highly effective on the feet of experienced tap dancers. My wife just loves them, and her group is considering making them the required standard for everyone to wear.
