The Bloch Women's Serenade Pointe Pink Ballet Flats are designed specifically for dancers who require a reliable and supportive footwear option when performing en pointe. Crafted with a wide platform, these ballet flats offer exceptional balance, making them ideal for executing those delicate movements with poise and grace.
With a longer vamp and a firm shank, these flats help to prevent overly flexible feet from bending too far over pointe, thus providing added stability that is crucial during performances. The satin fabric not only contributes to their elegant appearance but also offers a comfortable fit against your skin, ensuring that you can dance for hours without discomfort.

The Bloch Women's Serenade Pointe Pink Ballet Flats stand out for their thoughtful design aimed at improving both performance and comfort. Let’s delve into various aspects:
Comfort: These ballet flats are primarily made from satin, which feels soft against the skin. The firm shank offers essential support, particularly for dancers who may struggle with flexible feet. However, it's worth noting that some users might find a brief breaking-in period necessary before achieving maximum comfort.
Support: One of the standout features is the wide platform that enhances balance while on pointe. This feature, coupled with the longer vamp, provides excellent stability during complex movements, making them a great choice for beginner to intermediate dancers.
Design: Aesthetically, the soft pink satin finish is visually appealing, allowing you to make an impression on stage not just with your moves but also with your look. The pull-on design adds to the convenience, making it easy to slip them on quickly before performance.
Performance: While these flats are well-suited for dancers with square-shaped toes, those with narrower feet may need to consider alternatives. In terms of flexibility, the Bloch flats offer adequate support, but more advanced dancers may desire shoes that allow for greater foot articulation.

I got these shoes for my 13 year old daughter. They fit as expected, but (according to her,)Were much harder to break in than any Bloch Serenades she has ever had. She found them quite uncomfortable, and felt as the shoes didnt give her toes enough support. She felt like her toes were being mushed against the ground, Their not terrible, especially for such a low price, but they're not exactly great quality either.
Back when I used to dance en pointe, Blochs were what I usually bought. I have never been a pro, I just did it for the exercise, and I liked how strengthening it was to dance in pointe shoes (carefully) at the barre. Even after years without dancing en pointe, I still have unexpected residual ankle and foot strength. I got these for exercise, to rebuild that ankle and foot strength (very, very carefully and cautiously - only two hands, at the barre, no turns!), and because they're just so pretty on the feet!
