The Bloch Women's Pump Split Sole Canvas Ballet Shoe stands out in the world of dance footwear for its innovative design and thoughtful construction. The soft canvas material not only ensures a comfortable fit but also molds perfectly to the contours of your foot, enhancing both aesthetic appearance and functionality.
One of the standout features of this shoe is the split sole. It promotes a more natural foot movement while dancing, allowing for greater flexibility and range of motion. This is particularly beneficial for dancers striving to achieve those high arches and pointed positions.
Dancers often report that the heel seam cushion provides a smooth line, which is crucial for stage performances where aesthetics are paramount. Moreover, the tear-drop shaped pads at the toe and heel further increase flexibility, enabling you to execute those demanding ballet techniques with ease.
However, it’s important to note that these shoes may require a short break-in period as the canvas can feel stiff at first. Sizing can also be tricky; it is advised to order 2-2.5 sizes down from your regular street shoe size for the best fit. With width options ranging from x-narrow to x-wide, there is a good chance you’ll find a suitable fit, though some users have reported inconsistencies in sizing.
Overall, the Bloch Women's Pump Split Sole Canvas Ballet Shoe is an excellent investment for serious dancers looking for quality and performance. Its combination of tradition, innovation, and comfort makes it a reliable choice for both practice and performance.

I love these ballet slippers! They are very comfortable and true to size. My street shoe size is size 6 , I ordered these in a 4 C and they fit great. Needed them for a show and they arrived quickly.
Good quality, but just a bit larger than normal.
At first my daughter was happy. She ordered a 5 and it fit. Her street size is 8.BUT then she soon realized inside the area under her toes was a sticky glue substance. They are not made well. We must return them. I do not recommend buying these shoes.
Got these for my daughter who is taking a beginning ballet class for college. Perfect for her needs.Wasn't sure from the website if sizing was "American Shoe" or "Dance Sizing", so got both. DANCE SIZING was correct (she wears an 8.5 regular shoe, 6.5 ballet shoe was the right one. 8.5's will go back)Very happy with the price and quality of this purchase
Nice shoe and fit my daughter good. I just did not like that I had to sew in the straps as with other shoes I have purchased in the past I have never had to do that. But with that aside, they work well for her and are reasonably priced given she keeps growing out of them so fast.
Bloch is known for really comfortable ballet shoes. I am a size 7 or 7.5 in some regular shoes so size 6.5 C fit me perfect (apparenly they run big in canvas). Only would have liked for them to come pre-sewn. Also cheaper on Amazon than my local ballet store. I went in to get fitted in this exact slipper at my local store which cost more so knew my size and ordered on here for much cheaper. Arches look great in these! Great spin control as I don't spin out of control in these. I only wear bloch as they are the most comfortable.
I absolutely love bloch so when I decided to start taking ballet classes again and saw these and the price of them I had to buy it. I'm generally a size 9 in street shoe so I ended up buying a 7.5 just in case they ran small. I should be bought a 7 they would've been perfect. From the 7.5 size after I tighten the elastics, they were comfortable and I could definitely dance in these with comfort. They also show off my arches nicely. I'm in the process of returning the 7.5 and am going to order a 7 afterwards. Would rate higher if I could get a real "feel" of the flats
As a male size 9, I went two sizes down, narrow and they fit perfectly. The back end of the straps are sewn on, leaving the front ends left to sew your self.
