The Bloch Women's Infinity Stretch Dance Shoe truly excels in several areas. The innovative canvas material stretches comfortably while maintaining its shape, allowing you to perform a wide range of movements without discomfort. The plush elastic band creates a snug but gentle hold around your foot, eliminating common issues associated with traditional drawstrings.
When it comes to aesthetics, these shoes offer a sleek, streamlined look that many dancers appreciate—making them appropriate for both studio sessions and casual outings. The wider outsole design further enhances balance and foot stability, essential for all levels of dance.
However, potential buyers should be mindful of the sizing recommendations, as they generally run smaller than typical street shoe sizes. As such, it's advisable to try them on or carefully select your size before purchasing. Additionally, while their elegance makes them appealing, the soft materials may not withstand outside environments well.

I finally decided to toss my hybrid leather/canvas ballet slippers although they still had some life in them, and try stretch canvas. The material feels great, is medium/heavy duty, my toes can spread, the shoe hugs the arch nicely, and the turning platform is wide enough to support all metatarsals (unlike my previous confining hybrid slippers with narrow turning platform and bulging pleats under toes). The shoe has a pretty low profile especially on the outer side, I'm not used to that, but sits securely on the foot. I knew it was unlined, and I don't find it uncomfortable. The elastics are positioned well, tight but not too tight. My street shoe size is 8.5 (9 for sneakers or hiking shoes), and the size 7B fits perfectly), so the advice to go down 1.5 sizes was correct for me.
I usually wear 6.5C for bloch shoes and 8 for street shoes and it fits my foot perfectly. Just a remind, it is "infinite stretch", which means it will stretch when you wear them. As is commented on other reviews that the shoes are "extremely small and tight" at first try-on, but I have to say that it will stretch and perfectly hug your feet after 3-4 times of use. And because they were tight and small at the beginning, they tend to "grow" to your feet shape and fit perfectly at the end.
My daughter wears a 6 in women’s shoe. All the shoes she owns are 6 in women’s and fit nice. This product says to order 1-1/2 sizes smaller then street shoe... no. Don’t. I ordered a 6 and it fit perfectly. I don’t understand why they say to order smaller!!!
I am a womens shoe size 7 and purchased a Bloch size 5.5 and they fit well. They are snug but they are meant to be and because they are canvas they will eventually form to your feet. The shoes feel a little low cut on the heel but you'll notice thats normal and they are well secured by the cross straps. If you have a wider foot you will need a wider size.

Great fit for my wider feet. I feel comfortable while teaching. Canvas fabric is nice and I can turn just fine.
The manufacturer sizing recommendations are too small. Looks like a great ballet slipper, I just ordered up a half size of a full size to see what fits when they come in the mail.
Long time dancer wearing size 6-6.5 women's street shoe. Ordered 5c in these shoes and they were perfect! I love these shoes and feels like it fits perfectly when tried on, snug, great quality and very comfortable! Very happy!
