When evaluating the Bloch Women's Infinity Stretch Dance Shoe, one cannot overlook the meticulous craftsmanship that Bloch has become known for since its founding in 1932. This shoe stands out for its innovative use of materials, primarily its stretch canvas which adapts beautifully to the foot’s contours. The absence of a drawstring enhances comfort significantly, as the plush elastic at the top line reduces pressure points that are often found in traditional ballet flats.
The wider outsole design is particularly commendable as it enables a dancer's toes to spread naturally, which is crucial for achieving balance and executing turns. However, it's important to note that the recommended sizing may be a hurdle for some. Depending on your usual shoe size, ordering 1.5 to 2 sizes down may feel counterintuitive but is necessary for the ideal fit.
In terms of aesthetics, the sleek, low-top design complements any dance costume while providing functionality. Whether you're practicing in the studio or performing on stage, the Bloch Infinity Stretch shoe ensures that you're not just dancing, but doing so with poise and elegance.

I finally decided to toss my hybrid leather/canvas ballet slippers although they still had some life in them, and try stretch canvas. The material feels great, is medium/heavy duty, my toes can spread, the shoe hugs the arch nicely, and the turning platform is wide enough to support all metatarsals (unlike my previous confining hybrid slippers with narrow turning platform and bulging pleats under toes). The shoe has a pretty low profile especially on the outer side, I'm not used to that, but sits securely on the foot. I knew it was unlined, and I don't find it uncomfortable. The elastics are positioned well, tight but not too tight. My street shoe size is 8.5 (9 for sneakers or hiking shoes), and the size 7B fits perfectly), so the advice to go down 1.5 sizes was correct for me.
I usually wear 6.5C for bloch shoes and 8 for street shoes and it fits my foot perfectly. Just a remind, it is "infinite stretch", which means it will stretch when you wear them. As is commented on other reviews that the shoes are "extremely small and tight" at first try-on, but I have to say that it will stretch and perfectly hug your feet after 3-4 times of use. And because they were tight and small at the beginning, they tend to "grow" to your feet shape and fit perfectly at the end.
My daughter wears a 6 in women’s shoe. All the shoes she owns are 6 in women’s and fit nice. This product says to order 1-1/2 sizes smaller then street shoe... no. Don’t. I ordered a 6 and it fit perfectly. I don’t understand why they say to order smaller!!!
I am a womens shoe size 7 and purchased a Bloch size 5.5 and they fit well. They are snug but they are meant to be and because they are canvas they will eventually form to your feet. The shoes feel a little low cut on the heel but you'll notice thats normal and they are well secured by the cross straps. If you have a wider foot you will need a wider size.

Great fit for my wider feet. I feel comfortable while teaching. Canvas fabric is nice and I can turn just fine.
The manufacturer sizing recommendations are too small. Looks like a great ballet slipper, I just ordered up a half size of a full size to see what fits when they come in the mail.
Long time dancer wearing size 6-6.5 women's street shoe. Ordered 5c in these shoes and they were perfect! I love these shoes and feels like it fits perfectly when tried on, snug, great quality and very comfortable! Very happy!
