Its full sole structure offers stability and support, making it easier for new dancers to learn basic skills without fear of unsteadiness. The leather upper not only looks elegant but also provides necessary breathability and comfort during long practice sessions.
One standout feature is the pre-sewn elastic strap. It saves time and effort when putting on the slippers while ensuring that they remain securely in place. Additionally, the elastic drawstring allows you to fine-tune the fit around your arch, which can be particularly helpful for those with narrower feet.
In terms of care, these shoes are machine washable, making maintenance simple, which is crucial for any dancer who puts their footwear through rigorous use. While some dancers might find the sizing a bit tricky, it’s recommended to start with two sizes down from your regular street shoe, ensuring a snug and comfortable fit.

I’ve never worn ballet slippers before and wanted a pair to wear for local dance group. I bought a size 4 regular, it was too small. Returned and bought 4 wide. Still too small. Returned and bought 4.5 wide. Fits perfect. Easy exchange, no hassle, no questions, no problems. These are soft and pliable, nice quality, some adjustment available with front ties. Very good quality slippers for the cost. I was very pleased at the ease of exchange and opportunities to try until I was able to find my correct size. I wear size 6 shoe, and the 4.5 wide slipper fits perfectly. Great customer service. Great product. I would recommend these dance slippers!!’
I wear US women size 6 or EU 36 in 90% of street shoes. Always medium width. I got my first pair of these shoes in a size 4C (medium). They fit snugly when I first tried them on, but after 4 months of adult beginner ballet (twice a week), they started to feel very loose. I can still wear them, but they would sometimes bug me during center. Also, I had to pull the elastic so tight, that they would dig into my heels without socks on.I just sized down to a size 3.5B (narrow), and they fit much better. Mind you, I do not have narrow feet, so these fit very wide. I’m wondering if I should size down to a 3B just in case they become too loose after some wear, but as the size 3.5B is on sale right now for $8, I will keep them and reassess after a few months. In comparison, I wear sizes 3.5C in the Bloch Performa, 5.5B in the Bloch Synchrony (tho this shoe just doesn’t fit right for me), and 7 medium in the Capezio Juliet.Aside from the sizing, I’m a big fan of these, and their are my leather full sole shoes of choice. I have also tried the Capezio Daisy, but these shoes mold much better to my feet.TL;DR: Amazing shoes. Size down 2.5 sizes from your street shoes (for women) and consider narrow sizes even if you have medium-width feet.
We love these shoes and have been buying them for about 5 years. They’re durable and comfortable. They run slightly large but can be adjusted with the drawstring around the top. They also wipe off well.
I should start by saying I’m not a ballerina. I just have sensory issues that make it hard for me to walk around the house barefoot sometimes. Slippers get so dirty, especially the fuzzy ones, but I’ve found that these ballet shoes are perfect for my purposes. The fit was great, exactly as expected and the material is nice and sturdy. I’m not a dancer though, so I’m not sure if they would suit for hardcore ballerinas.
I read the reviews and ordered down 2 1/2 sizes. I wear a street size of 7 or 7.5M and I ordered a 5C. They were a little bit on the snug side but i like them form fitting and I expect the leather will stretch a little to accommodate. they are comfortable and the quality is great. definitely worth buy.
During the pandemic I got a pair of Capezio Daisy shoes in size 8.5 to use for Zumba online classes which I was doing on the laminate floor of my kitchen. Since the in-person classes have started up again at my local gym with a wood floor, I continued to wear the Capezio shoes there. After 3 years I felt it was time to get a new pair of shoes and decided to try these. My street shoes are size 8.5 (ladies') and I ordered 2 sizes down to 6.5 as the chart and other commenters said. They are still a bit big and I think a size 6 would have been better. The elastic is already stitched on but it feels too tight for me. I may need to cut the elastic and use the Bloch covert elastic instead which I find more comfortable. Quality of the materials used seems better than my Capezios. I plan to keep these but get a size 6 next time.Edit: (a few days later) I decided to return the sz 6.5 after all and get the sz.6. They came quickly and I am changing my rating to 5 stars. They fit perfectly now. Elastic ankle strap is still tight but easily fixable.
Way too big! But I got size 6.5 instead size8. Turns nicely fitted.
It took us some efforts to figure out the right size. Once that’s done, my wife was very pleased with the quality of the shoes and the comfort wearing them. Considering the sale price we paid, this is a great purchase. Before you buy, make sure you check out the size guide chart in the sliding pictures. Don’t use the size guide they provide in the description as it gives incorrect information (too large for US sizes).
