Durability and Performance: Made from soft yet durable square canvas, these slippers hold up well against regular use while molding to your foot, ensuring personalized comfort over time. This adaptability is essential, especially for aspiring professional dancers who log hours of practice.
Aesthetic Appeal: Beyond functionality, the Bloch slippers provide an elegant look. The heel seam cushion contributes to a refined silhouette, which is important when performing in front of an audience. Every detail has been carefully considered, allowing you to feel confident as you take center stage.
Flexibility: The tear-shaped pads at the toe and heel significantly enhance the flexibility of the slipper. This feature allows for a more natural arch and helps elevate your dance performance, enabling greater expression in your movements.

They were very comfortable alitte wide but I brought the next size up because there wasn't any in my size. Also dyed very well no complaints
Perfectly well-made, but make sure you understand that all sizes are in men's sizes = they will be enormous on you if you order your normal women's size. The vamp of the shoe comes up higher than a women's shoe normally does - which can emphasize the downward slope of your toes a little more, but my daughter didn't feel comfortable with that look. The canvas also did not feel particularly stretchy to adhere to the foot and arch, but maybe that would be hard too tell because they were so overly large? We will be returning these.
Have worn these my whole career , honestly I haven’t found a silhouette that is more comfortable and beautiful on the foot. I would recommend for anyone looking to make the most beautiful lines possible.
It's silly how happy it made me to get a pair of ballet shoes that were closer to my skin than theatrical pink. They look and feel amazing. I have oddly shaped feet (wider than typical toe area and narrower than the typical heel, and these tightened up excellently. I got them to wear around the house because what former dancers don't go through warmup exercises randomly while doing housework? They make such a beautiful shape to the foot. I wasn't sure how I felt about the more square toe but that's silly- it works.
If you follow their size chart then it should fit.
I put it on for the first time and the stitching on one of the straps came right out
I like the shoe, didn’t like sewing the elastics myself
This is my 2nd purchase after mistakenly taking comment section seriously on my first ballet shoe from Bloch. I just measured from my toe tip to my heel tip without rotating my ruler with 90 degree angle, without twisting it and ordered that size. Ordered the Wide version despite my feet being not superwide. If you have super wide feet consider going .5 or 1 size larger than this method that I wrote here.
