The supple leather gives the shoe a luxurious feel, while the lightweight construction means there’s no excess weight to hinder your dancing. In terms of breathability, the cotton lining does an outstanding job, ensuring that even during intense practice sessions, your feet remain comfortable.
In comparison to similar options, such as the Capezio Daisy or Sansha Pro 1, the Bloch Dansoft II stands out for its exceptional comfort and style, particularly for those just starting their ballet journey. However, it's important to note that experienced dancers may find it lacking in some supportive features that aid more complex movements.

I am very pleased with my purchase, they are great on just about any flooring. I've used them on both dance floor and carpet, and they're great! They have just enough grip that I don't fall, yet I still have a lot of movement and am able to do pirouettes and turns just fine. They fit great too! I wear a size 8 street shoe, I ordered a 6.5 for these and they fit perfectly! I love the split sole as well, split soles don't typically have very good arch support, but these actually have pretty good support. The strap is placed just right, so they don't slip off and I have very good movement in my ankles. They're really good quality in all aspects, the sole, the strap, the fit are all very nice. I really can't think of any problems I have with these, the sides kind of dig into my skin, but that will go away as I break them in. I highly recommend these for any dancer, they really are great!
Always fits, durable, our go to ballet shoe!
I am not a dancer, but wanted a pair of slippers to use in the house. I read on here that the sizing would be a little tricky, and I was a little nervous especially because my feet are huge and never fit into anything-- I am a size 10! So, I ordered an 8.5 D just because I was afraid of having width issues. Turns out the width is fine but the length is a bit off. There is a little bit of space in front of my toes, (1/2 an inch) but in all honesty, it's not a big deal since I won't be using these for dancing. All that matters is that I can walk in them. They are really comfortable by the way! I trust that they will last quite some time.
Both shoes seems great. Bloch sizing runs much larger than Capezio.
Perfect fit and comfortable.
Lovely shoe but I am a classic 6.5 and I am wearing a 5.5 in these, could have ordered a 5 for a more snug toe box but I didn’t have time to wait. I love them just beware they run large.*great quality. January of 2023 and they still look new after wearing twice a week to class and practice at home. Definitely recommend.
Functional
I wear 8.5-9.5 in street shoes. Ordered a 6.5, neither narrow nor wide. Lengthwise they’re perfect - turns out I should have ordered a narrow but they’re just fine for doing barre exercises at home!
