When it comes to selecting footwear that balances performance and aesthetics, the Bloch Women's Canvas Boost Sneaker excels in numerous aspects. These sneakers feature a unique split design which allows for greater flexibility, essential for any dancer's needs. The non-marking outsoles ensure that you can wear them in dance studios or gyms without damaging the flooring.
The built-in arch support is particularly noteworthy. It is designed not only to provide comfort but also to enhance the natural arch of your foot—an important feature when you're spending long hours on your feet. Moreover, the lightweight materials employed in the sneaker's construction allow for extended wear without fatigue, making these shoes suitable for daily activities beyond dance.
A standout element is the variable lacing system, which gives you control over the fit and security of the shoe. This is especially advantageous during vigorous movements and turns, where stability is critical. With a compression molded EVA sock liner and special Dri-Lex lining, these sneakers keep your feet comfortable and dry, even during intense workouts.
However, while they shine in many areas, it's important to note that these sneakers are tailored for indoor use only. Therefore, you might want to consider other options if you’re looking for something to withstand the outdoors. Additionally, sizing can be a bit tricky, particularly for first-time buyers of Bloch products. It's recommended to follow the specific sizing guidance provided to achieve the best fit.

I do Zumba Gold and although my knees and back pain would be worse after class I still did the Zumba Gold because I really enjoy it. One of the ladies in the class recommended that I try the Bloch shoe designed for dance. Boy am I glad she suggested it. It has made such a difference. I don't stick to the floor and I can turn so much better in class. Also my pain level is much better. My only complaint is I read the reviews and sized up 1 1/2 sizes so the shoe is a bit large. Maybe one size might have been better. No fault of the shoe. I fixed the problem by wearing thicker socks. Other than that I highly recommend this shoe for anyone who does any type of dance class.
I probably bought at least 5 pairs of dance sneakers (from Ryka, Capezio, etc.) to try before deciding on this one. I used to wear regular sneakers to my Zumba class and my knees would start to hurt. I wear size 8 in sneakers and 7.5W in dress shoes. I bought size 9 in these and they fit just right. The quality is great and my feet feel supported. They allow me to twist and turn with ease but there’s enough traction that I don’t get wiped out. LOL
Comfortable shoe. Good for spins.
I had a pair of these for 4-5 years and absolutely love them. When they finally wore out, I decided to replace them. In reading the reviews, it seemed that most buyers were going with 1 size up. My first pair were 1 1/2 size up, but I went with the smaller option thinking that sizing might have changed in 4-5 years. WRONG! My foot is small (5 1/2 to 6) but the 6 1/2 not only were somewhat short in the toe ( which I think I could have worked with) but there was a hard place in the tongue that was extremely uncomfortable on my left upper instep. Never had that problem before. I had to send them back and order a 7 (1 1/2 sizes up). I do want to say how impressed I am with Amazon's prepaid return policy. I printed out the label, took it to a UPS store, and within about 2 hours, I received an email that my return had been processed and a credit was forthcoming. Good on you, Amazon!
I returned both pair because they are large, high and too clumsy for dancing. I purchased dance socks and use them over shoes that don't make my feet look so large.
Same brand that I have been paying more for. Read about the sizing and you will be fine. LOVE split-sole Bloch shoes for Zumba
I've had several pairs of Bloch dance shoes and these don't fit like the others. I know you buy 1 1/2 sizes up from your regular size but these are tight in the toe area, short in length, and the padding in it isn't as good. They need to size in inches not shoe size since they are from China. The shoe does turn well but very uncomfortable. I suggest 2 sizes up.
I’ve been wearing this specific shoe and brand for almost ten years. But the last pair I received is significantly lower quality and I am so disappointed. It used to be my go to. But something is off now.
