Your experience with the Bloch Men's Jazz Oxford Dance Shoe starts the moment you open the box. The first thing you'll notice is the impeccable craftsmanship — a testament to Bloch's legacy in dance footwear. The use of 100% leather for the upper gives the shoe a premium look and feel, while also ensuring it can withstand the rigors of intensive dance practice.
One of the standout features of this shoe is the cushioned insock, which offers remarkable comfort. You can dance for hours without feeling fatigued, thanks to the excellent shock absorption provided by the cushioning. Whether you're rehearsing for a performance or just enjoying a casual class, your feet will thank you.
Another aspect worth mentioning is the flat stacked heel. This design not only promotes better posture but also aids in balance, helping you execute those intricate dance moves with confidence. Additionally, the reinforced eyelets ensure that the laces remain securely tied, minimizing distractions when you're on stage.
However, it's important to note that sizing can be a bit challenging. Many users recommend purchasing a size down from your usual street shoes. Be prepared for a slight break-in period as well, typical with leather shoes. Once broken in, you’ll find that these shoes mold beautifully to your feet.
In summary, the Bloch Men's Jazz Oxford Leather Sole Dance Shoe is a fantastic blend of style, comfort, and durability. Ideal for serious dancers and those looking for a stylish shoe for social events, this option stands out in the crowded market of dance footwear.

It is worth spending a little more money on these high-quality shoes then finding cheap ones! Much better for your feet!
Product arrived without shoelaces.
Well worth the money. Well constructed. I wish they'd cut just a little lower below the ankles but I think the fit there may get better over time. The sole is a bit softer than I expected, but perfectly fine for dance. I ordered an 11 even though I usually wear a 9.5 or 10 at most. It fits well.
These shoes I have used sparingly because they never fit well, the heels were too elevated, and the soles often lack traction on slippery surfaces. Hard to comment on their durability because of lack of use. Would not buy another Bloch pair of dance shoes if there were other alternatives, though they do have leather soles.
The shoe feels very comfortable, but you will notice that the edge of the shoe by the inside ankle is to high. The rubbing over general use will damage your skin unless you protect it under your socks with some form of padding.
I normally wear size 10(US) shoes. I had to send back the 10s and get the size 9s.9s fit just right, feel snug but that's what you want in a dance shoe, specifically for Argentine Tango.Real leather upper and soles. Definitely worth the price.
I could wear this pair to my linedance and tango lessens. But the best use is for me to wear them when taking long flights (6 hours plus or red eyes). They let me get off the plane with tired feet in soothing glove-like soft leather. And I look ready and great from bottom up.
Very good quality. Short break-in period. Fits slightly larger than size (1/4 size bigger than listed).
