The Bloch Men's Dance Pump Split Sole Canvas Ballet Slipper in White is designed for dancers who prioritize both performance and comfort. With its innovative pump construction, this shoe encourages the canvas material to hug the arch of your foot, significantly reducing material bunching that can occur during dance movements, especially when pointing. Made from soft yet durable square canvas, the slipper molds perfectly to your foot's contours, providing an almost custom fit.
One of the standout features of this ballet slipper is the heel seam cushion, which not only enhances comfort but also contributes to a smooth and aesthetically pleasing line of the foot. This feature ensures you look as good as you feel while dancing. Additionally, the tear drop shaped pads at the toe and heel promote flexibility, allowing your foot to arch beautifully during performances.

When it comes to evaluating the Bloch Men's Dance Pump Split Sole Canvas Ballet Slipper, several key categories stand out:
The comfort level delivered by these slippers is remarkable. The soft canvas molds to your foot's shape while the heel seam cushioning provides additional support, ensuring long hours of practice or performance don’t result in fatigue.
This slipper is specifically designed to hug your arch, which means it excels in providing an exceptional fit. However, it's crucial to adhere to the sizing guideline of selecting two sizes down from your street shoe size for optimal results.
The inclusion of tear drop shaped pads at both the toe and heel areas allows for an impressive range of movement. This added flexibility is ideal for dancers who need to express a wide array of movements without restrictions.
Constructed from high-quality textile material, these slippers are made to endure frequent wear. The leather sole adds to this durability while providing a classic ballet feel during performances.
Lastly, the design of the Bloch Dance Pump is sleek and visually appealing. It offers a clean line that flatters the foot, making it a popular choice among serious dancers looking to enhance their overall appearance on stage.

They were very comfortable alitte wide but I brought the next size up because there wasn't any in my size. Also dyed very well no complaints
Perfectly well-made, but make sure you understand that all sizes are in men's sizes = they will be enormous on you if you order your normal women's size. The vamp of the shoe comes up higher than a women's shoe normally does - which can emphasize the downward slope of your toes a little more, but my daughter didn't feel comfortable with that look. The canvas also did not feel particularly stretchy to adhere to the foot and arch, but maybe that would be hard too tell because they were so overly large? We will be returning these.
Have worn these my whole career , honestly I haven’t found a silhouette that is more comfortable and beautiful on the foot. I would recommend for anyone looking to make the most beautiful lines possible.
It's silly how happy it made me to get a pair of ballet shoes that were closer to my skin than theatrical pink. They look and feel amazing. I have oddly shaped feet (wider than typical toe area and narrower than the typical heel, and these tightened up excellently. I got them to wear around the house because what former dancers don't go through warmup exercises randomly while doing housework? They make such a beautiful shape to the foot. I wasn't sure how I felt about the more square toe but that's silly- it works.
If you follow their size chart then it should fit.
I put it on for the first time and the stitching on one of the straps came right out
I like the shoe, didn’t like sewing the elastics myself
This is my 2nd purchase after mistakenly taking comment section seriously on my first ballet shoe from Bloch. I just measured from my toe tip to my heel tip without rotating my ruler with 90 degree angle, without twisting it and ordered that size. Ordered the Wide version despite my feet being not superwide. If you have super wide feet consider going .5 or 1 size larger than this method that I wrote here.
