Initially I left a positive 5 star review, because the shoes looked nice and felt comfortable the first time I wore it. Then, after going for a short walk in them, nail heads starting popping through the inside of the shoe by the heal.I also noticed the shoes were extremely hot. I wear loafers or leather oxfords daily, and they have never been this hot. So I examined it a little closer and noticed the shoes did not smell like leather (had almost no smell at all).All leather shoes I have owned are breathable, and smell like leather, even when they are years old. This shoe was neither which makes me question whether the upper is genuine leather
