The Birkenstock Original Dundee excels in several categories that matter to consumers seeking stylish yet comfortable footwear. Starting with comfort, the signature footbed molds to your individual foot shape, ensuring that weight is evenly distributed. This feature dramatically reduces foot fatigue, making it ideal for those who are on their feet for extended periods.
When it comes to design, the luxe leather upper not only looks sophisticated but also ages beautifully, enhancing the boot's character over time. The lace-up front allows you to adjust the fit to your liking, providing extra security during walks. Although primarily designed for casual wear, these boots can easily transition into more dressed-up situations if needed.
Durability is another strong point. Being made in Germany with high-quality materials means that you can trust these boots to last, even with regular use. However, one downside could be the price; while they offer amazing quality, some may find them a bit costly compared to similar alternatives.

May I clarify by saying they felt larger than my London's and my Milano sandals but all three have the same sole size. I think it is just that the toe box is larger and the 1/8" high quality suede is softer and more giving than 1/8" chrome tanned leathern of the Londons . They feel awesome. They broke in quickly as I deliberately fledged the foot bed . I have to go elsewhere for them but the olive is beautiful.
I love them have not taken them off very much (just to sleep) ... the only but I have to add is that 10 years ago (yes that how long my last ones lasted and still going btw) they used to have full soles. This shoe is basically just an extension of the usual Birkenstock sandle but fully covered. Nonetheless, its a great thing walking on cork, with a wonderful feel. You will need to know your rigth size, probably try at a store before then have them order the full shoe or order it yourself. The sole is really what matters about Birkenstocks. Once you have one, you wont were anything else. These shoes in black are almost business like, i wear them to work.
It was not described how big or small their widths were, the package came, I didn't even try the shoes on, they looked way too big. I just returned them.
I enjoy my Birkenstock! They are light and fit really well. I can walk for hours with them. Nice shoes.
The shoes are super comfy! I feel like I be on this shoes all day long. The only problem is that if you are into fashion do not get them, they are kinda ugly.... but comfy.
It is so difficult to find shoes that fit my feet. I own birkenstock sandals and I love them, so I thought I would give these a try. I couldn't believe what a great deal they were on here! The color is slightly lighter than in the picture, but I expected that after googling the shoes beforehand. When I first put my feet in them, I felt like the arch was in the wrong spot. After wearing them for 20mins, they feel amazing. I guess I forgot how much the shoes form to my feet after a short break-on period. I would also recommend wearing them with thin socks. Any leather that is overlapping and "sticking out" (as doing reviews talk about) is completely unnoticeable with socks on.
I know Birkenstocks are known for their comfort not style. I am a huge Birkenstock fan. As a teacher I more or less only wear Birkenstocks to work, I am on my feet all day and they keep my comfortable. I have found that a good shoe really makes a huge difference in my energy level, which anyone who is on their feet all day would understand. I have about 5 pairs of Birkenstocks and these were the most expensive, and they are my least favorite. They are just as comfortable as I have come to expect from Birkenstocks, but they are just so ugly. At least one student a day tells me they are clown shoes (you can always count on teenagers for the harsh truth). I am not trying to impress my students with my fashion but I will say they are 100% correct, they are just ugly, there is no way around it. I will continue to wear them because they are comfortable, I can wear them with pants, and they are one of the few Birkenstock styles that is warm in the winter. Also they were so expensive I would never dream of not getting my value out of them. However, for someone looking to buy them I would say even if you are not one who really cares about fashion, you probably won't find them attractive. If you are more driven by comfort, than as it goes with any Birkenstocks, you will love them.
I love these, they fit wonderfully and look great on, especially with my leggings. High quality and worth the money.
