Gorgeous sneaker, very comfy as I expected from Birkenstock. Runs a bit large. Definitely order your exact size or 1/2 size down. I am German and have the European wide feet but still needed to downsize 1/2 size. I own 20+ pairs of Birkenstock, that's all I wear. These were the first pair that ran a bit large. Easy fix, and well worth it!!
I love these boots! Wore them parking cars at work in all kinds of weather and have no complaints! Are holding up well and are alot cuter in person rather than the picture. Really glad to have birkenstock boots!! Very comfy as expected from this brand!
I sure thought they were supposed to be red. They are not at all, but luckily, I like wine color too. They came covered in some strange grey dust... my first thought was mold but it wipes right off with a damp rag and nothing appears on the rag, as well, there is no musty smell or anything so, maybe it was some sort of leather preserve powder? Idk. They are cute and I am keeping them. But also know, they are ridiculously hard to put on out of the box. I had to loosen every single lace and work. I am sure they will loosen up but man, a fat girl had to work... boo. I am a solid 10.5 and they fit great... once on.
I had such high hopes for these boots. I love the look of them, and the sherpa, fleece inside promised cozy winter wear. I finally got a chance to wear them out when winter came around, I was disappointed to find that they cut deeply into my heel. The heel cup on the inside of the back of the shoe is not very well padded. I walked my kiddo to school and back, and my heel was bloody mess, and it took about a week and a half for it to heal.
I love these shoes. Birkenstock is my go to shoe now because of my foot pain. These are adorable. I want the black n silver ones now.
