The synthetic sole offers a decent grip, although you should be cautious about slipping in wet conditions.
The Maryjane strap not only enhances the vintage look but also ensures that the shoe fits snugly on your foot. Many users have praised the comfort level of this design, making it suitable for prolonged wear during events or social gatherings.
In terms of versatility, the vibrant red shade can elevate a simple outfit, pairing well with dresses or even tailored trousers for a sophisticated look. However, if you often find yourself in rainy conditions, it's crucial to note that these pumps are not water-resistant.

Very cute, appears to be very well-made. I've only worn them around the house but I do not feel like I made a mistake in my purchase. I might need to add an insole for the balls of my feet but other than that I think we're OK. Still don't know what they're hang time is when wearing them out with the girls. :)
Nice looking shoes that don't kill your feet!
I love them. Just needed to go a size up. Wish they came in half sizes. I ordered a size up and returned my 1st pair. I'll be ordering more styles now that I have my size down for this type, brand of heel
I ordered these shoes twice from one company and once from another, and all three pairs were not this style. Clearly this style is not made any longer by Bettie Page, but the images have not been updated. The shoe that will be sent does not have the white piping, does not have a t-strap or ankle strap, and the "hole" pattern is different. The strap is a mary jane style, but is...loose? Like if you have a "fatter" foot (I don't know a better way to describe that), the strap may be tight. If your foot is not, the strap just sort of rests on your foot decoratively. Despite the useless strap, the shoe stayed on my foot without slipping with casual usage. Shoe has the same overall shaping and heel.
These shoes are really cute in person, but they are some of the most uncomfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. Pretty inflexible with no helpful padding for the ball of your foot. If you are a veteran heel-wearer, these might be fine, but I wouldn’t recommend them otherwise
Got sent a pair that looked nothing like the photo and they ran really small.
This style shoe is cute and comfortable, except for the strap going across the top of your foot. There is only a little button on the shoe to fit through one special slit at the end of the strap. There is no way to adjust the strap to fit and hold the shoe tight across your ankle. It would not hold the shoe tight enough across my ankle but fit loosely. Again, no way to tighten it. Also I could tell that over time the little button would come off the shoe or the hole stretch out with constant removal. Knew this shoe would not last due to that. To me it's a design flaw if it won't fit different women's feet snugly across their ankles.
Great look but the fit is weird heel slopes in, terrible if you have a bad back or leg issues.
