As someone with wide diabetic feet, these are both comfortable and stylish. I get compliments on them frequently and have a full collection with a variety of colors. I particularly like the slight heal!
Want to rate a 5 but because of size/fit I'm lowering it. The shoe seems to fit correctly other than that the strap is too large (and I always considered myself as having a bit of a high arch). I have other 8 1/2 shoes that tell me they're also a 39. I was actually afraid they were going to be a bit tight. (Probably important to note is that I also just got a different Bernie Mev in 39 and all the straps are really tight on me. I'm hoping they'll stretch a bit otherwise slight circulation issue.)For this shoe I got the "multi camo" & I LOVE the color. I am now afraid to do a size 38 as it feels like the footbed fit perfectly on the 39, the strap is just too big. (my finger slides under it with room to spare) But I really, really, really want these shoes! (I will update if I cave & see if the smaller fixes this issue on this shoe/color)
Pair number six of Bernie Mevs. I would have more - but don't want people to think I am obsessive (which I this case, I am!) These are without a doubt the most comfortable shoes on the market. I have a high arch and instep, so finding a shoe with great support that still looks fashionable is not easy task. While being comfortable enough to wear all day, my Bernie Mevs never fail to elicit compliments. I especially like the way the wedge is constructed. They feel very stable while not looking too "clunky". I also like the fact that my Bernie Mevs keep my feet cool and the insole never feels "yucky" (for lack of a better word) like some shoes do when you don't wear socks. I bought my first pair 5 years ago and they still look like new. Apparently, these shoes last forever. Well, worth the cost!
These shoes fit well and can be worn all day or all evening. I have some intermittent swelling in my feet and with other shoes I can sometimes have discomfort when wearing them all day. With theses shoes I never have to worry about that. They are flexible and never feel too tight.
This is my third pair of Bernie Mevs. They’re light, comfortable and stylish. They do stretch out after a while which is why I’m buying a new pair. But definitely worth the money.
Very comfortable sandals however they are poorly made so that heel is falling out whenever the step is made. Too bad as they are cute and comfortable.
