The shoes are too small I need a size 8
I am a big Bernie Mev fan. I have Bernie’s shoes in several colors. True to size. I am 7 US so I ordered 38. Most comfortable heels. I can’t wear heels anymore but I decided to give this a try and they don’t bother my knees at all. I usually wear them to work all day. The platform is perfect for us mature women who need a stable and comfortable shoe and some high. It has the perfect cushion and dimensions. I have wide feet and have no problem. They will last you a long time. I thought they were a bit pricey but truly worth the money. My 3 year old Bernie’s still look like new. No sign of wear and tear and I wear them often. I recommend to anyone. My friends who also got them are in love with them. They also come in a beautiful box and a bag to take anywhere.
I really like these shoes, the look and color are perfect. I ordered them because I have a pair of Bernie Mev sandals I love. They arrived on time and I'm pleased with them overall. The only thing I don't like about the shoes is that they tend to flop at the heels when I walk. I like them enough that I would not return them. They are a bit small but as I continue to wear them, the weave is loosening a bit. I am a size 8.5 or 9 for shoes. I ordered a size 40 which the chart says is equal to 9.5-10.5 US size. I ordered a 40 because that's what my other Bernie Mev sandals are. My point is these are made small so make sure you order a size larger than what the chart says. The 40 size is still a tad small and my toes are touching the ends. The shoes are becoming looser and I can still wear them but wish they were a touch longer. I will need to deal with the flopping at the heels by buying some kind of shoe insert.
These shoes were nice looking & comfortable. After wearing for a few hours, the woven fabric stretched so much my foot came out of the shoe while walking. I turned my ankle & almost fell. I spent the first day of a trip icing my foot & ankle. I had similar, much less expensive woven shoes that lasted a few years.
I normally wear size 7. My last pair of Bernie Mev, I sized up to 7.5/8 and they fit fine, so I ordered the same size ( 38) with this style. If you purchase these, know you may need to size up a whole size. The style is good and the wedge heel is the perfect height, however, due to the short toe box and narrow fit, they were impossible for me to wear or consider keeping. Returned.Note-- I purchased the same brand, same size, but different style (Gem) at the same time and they fit without a problem, so IMO, the Cleopatra was sized incorrectly.
Love these bronze Bernie Mevs that provide wardrobe versatility and super comfort with added height. Am tempted to order in another color.
My mom loves these shoes, she is overseas and every trip is all she asks, because it’s comfortable, great looking and gives a good stretch around the top of her foot.The box it came in is very cute and presentable to gift someone you love! ❤️
The straps support are so tight that you can not use it for more than hour. I needed it for an every day.I can barely use it.Needed it for a long trip for September.
