BEARPAW Women's Lauren Tall Winter Boot Review: Comfort Meets Style

I bought my regular size and they fit comfortably with socks. They are a little higher than calf, not knee height. I've sprayed them with waterproofing. Great looking. Fingers crossed the buttons are sturdy and the buttons and loops don't come off. I can get them on and off without unbuttning which should help. Recommend so far

My sister got a pair of these a couple weeks ago and when I saw them I knew I had to have them. My Bearpaws from last winter were wore to the death; I wore them everyday through a long Minnesota winter as I walked from class to class while on a large college campus. The rubber bottom of those eventually cracked from excessive wear, but other than that they were WONDERFUL. Comfortable, warm and adorable. So I had to decide which Bearpaws I was going to get this year, and these ones are perfect. I've always liked "knee" high boots. These come up half way below my knee. The inside is soft and comfortable. They're warm and I can definitely see myself wearing them all winter. I love them. They're adorable. The quality is great. The fit is great. I am a very happy shopper.

Love these boots! They are incredibly comforable, very warm, and cute. The sole seems well made and durable. The boot comes to about mid calf. Ordered hickory, but received new hickory (slightly darker), which I actually like better. They are a little stiff where the stitching is around the ankle, but they loosened up within a few times of wearing them. I wear either an 8 or 8 1/2 (running shoe) and the 8 fits me perfect. If you wear with your skinny jeans, the boot is fairly snug, but the toggle elastic doesn't pull too much. They arrived quickly and the boots were packaged with inserts in toes and leg opening to keep the structure. Best part is that I could buy 3 pairs compared to only one pair of UGGs! Definitely a great price for a boot like this.

I actually bought these boots for my sister's birthday present. The fit was excellent in the feet and true to size. One issue that my sister had with the boots, was the calf part of the shoe was a little small and tight fit. My sister is short and has rather large calves so the boots were a little snug and pulled on the fullest part of her calves. She informed me that they are still very warm and comfortable and she loves wearing them. They are stylish and several people have commented on how they love her boots. All in all, they are a great boot and I would recommend them to others who are looking for a warm and stylish boot.

I ordered a pair of these boots in another color several months ago, and have worn them pretty much every day. My winter has been much warmer than usual! I ordered 2 more pair in different colors while they're on sale. They do pack down a bit over time, but I've been happy sizing up 1/2 size, instead of down, as some advised. I usually wear a 6.5, and ordered these in a 7. A size 6 would have been too short, even with long-term wear. They're pretty wide, which I expected (my feet aren't). Sort of like wearing the most comfortable, cozy slippers ever. No arch support, if that's important to you. So far I'm impressed with the quality of these boots. Really only ordered them to be worn indoors, but have worn them everywhere all winter and they've held up well. (The soles are better on ice and snow than I had expected.) The shearling lining has made them the only boots I can wear for hours without causing sweaty (and then, cold) feet. Love these boots. Hard to imagine why anyone would pay 3x (and more) for [super-expensive brand name goes here].

These shipped in a timely manner, nicely packed, and were free of any defects. I get so many compliments on these boots, and they are so comfy and warm. I am impressed with how structured they are, they are not so floppy like some that feel like you're wearing your bedroom slippers out in public. They are sturdy for being so comfortable and relaxed. So perfect with leggings and a long sweater! The button side also comes completely undone making it really easy to get the boots over jeans if desired, and the top half of the boot can be folded down for a different look. Equally comfortable with or without socks. I'm very pleased with the function, comfort, and look! Would not even consider paying more than twice the price for a different brand that is not as sturdy, but I never have been one of the sheep. Yay!

Finally!! After purchasing (and returning) 4 different style Bearpaw, I finally found a pair that fit like Bearpaw Bianca. These fit true to size, I wear a 9 and there is plenty of toe room (a problem I was having with the other pairs). Not only are they stylish, but very comfy. I read many reviews that the toggles fall off. You don't really need to undo them, but fixing them is just a couple of stitches. I've also read that people have complained that Bearpaw fall apart. I have owned Bearpaw for a few years and never had any issues. I always spray my boots before wearing them for the season.I will note too with these boots, in the description it says the shaft measures 16" from sole. Wrong. They measure approx 13.5". Not a big deal, just noted.

I knew these would stretch at leas a full size and a half, since this is my second pair in this style. I ordered a size 8 and after 3 weeks they have already stretched to a size 9 which is my actual shoe size. They keep my feet warm and they look good with pants as well as skirts. But if you need arch support this is not the boot for you. I will not wear these if I am going to be standing for long periods of time or walking long distances.
