First all, I have been wearing Bates boots/shoes for almost 20 years. I have had no complaints with the quality or comfort of their products. With that said, I bought these shoes because of my experience with Bates, these are slip-ons, they came in a wide size and the price is great.When the shoes arrived I was a bit concerned that I was sent some used shoes because they were mailed in a large postal envelope with out the box. I was a bit annoyed by this but since shipping is included in the price, I got over it. After taking a look at the shoes they appeared to be new. I tried on the shoes and they fit nicely. The width is comfortably snug, they shouldn't loosen too much once broken in. The shoes are sturdy and have good support. I liked them so much I ordered another pair.
I am using them for yard work. They are sturdy enough for my use.

The shoes fit and they have a good arch in them I am a heavy person most of my shoes wair out on the inside but these seam to be holding up so far made of good quality meteral

I normally wear a 10.5, but the size 10 fits well. They look and feel sturdy.

The shoes look great good material. They could use more inner padding. I stand for hours at my job. By the second hour or so they kind of not support your body, I'm only 182 lbs. Anyway I bought some insoles to help.
