These boots fit a little loose but I double up on socks in winter because I work outside in construction. This is my second pair of this boot. I love them slip on are great, the composite toe is light weight compared to a steel toe and does not get as cold in winter. The boots stay water proof till you wear the stitching down or the sole which is natural, no boot is waterproof Forever. I like these boots because they are rated for electrical hazard also. They have no metal in them so you can work in places where metal detectors are a big thing like airports.They are a great boot!!

I absolutely love the boots. They fit great the reason for the 4 not 5 stars is that bothe footbed insoles had to be replaced they were wrinkled and wouldn’t sit flat in the boot. Otherwise, I love them. True to size, lightweight and comfortable. Thanks
I bought these boots to wear at SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) events and exceed what I expected. I wore them near constantly for two weeks at our largest event that just occurred. I will most like wear them when I get back into heavy armored combat. The only 'issue' I had was the sizing. Usually I wear a 7 1/2 m but ordered the size 8 wide which were too big for me to wear,however, I liked them so much I ordered a pair in my size but wide width. The new pair were also a tad large but mostly due to my ordering the wide width when I shouldn't have. Not a fan of the pink stitching so will be going over that with dye.
You're not going to get real work boots like men have and fit them too. This is as close as it gets especially if you have wide feet or sore feet. I have both and nothing worked until this pair. . I bought a second pair immediately. Just wear thick soft socks especially when breaking them in. Go work or mud now and enjoy!
So I got my new safety boots and as I had only a day prior broke a toe I looked the box said women's 8.5 so I put my boots on and left my house to head back to the field to work. As I was working my toes were sliding around inside the inner part and I thought this is strange. Oh yeah well let me back up a bit. So the tops of these boots are huge so much so that even my boot cut jeans I had major problems getting under. So I had 1 pant leg I'm and 1 out. As I got back to work and turned on my saw, wood chips flew all in the inside of the one that I couldn't get tucked into my pant legs. So after working only 3.5 hours I said to hell with these things and put on a pair of tennis shoes. Got home and did some looking to find out why these are so big yet say a woman's size 8.5. Well it is bc it only says a woman's but mine were actually a man's size 8.5. The European size of a ladies 8.5 is a 39. Well these were much bigger, can't remember now bit think they were closer to like a 43 which is what the man's size 8.5 equaled. So I never put my foot back inside these boots and thought well how will I return these since the 1 boot had wood chips inside and the toes of both were just a little scuffed up. Called customer service explained why I hated them and that returning them was a must.
I love these boots!! They fit as expected and are very comfortable. I’m outside all day for work and my feet do not get cold. I would highly recommend these to anyone seeking a good quality work boot.
I ordered a size up like suggested because I have wide, flat feet with bunions, and I should have ordered my exact size. When I first bought these, the leather on my right boot made an annoying popping sound but it's somewhat gone away now that I've broken them in. But I still feel like I'm slopping around in Andre the Giants shoes. I am a driver and load my truck in a warehouse and these hurt my feet so much at first I actually had to take them off at the end of the day and run around my warehouse in my socks. But, at the end of it all, they do the job, they protect my feet, kept them dry and warm, but they are definitely my winter-and-when-I-have-no-other-option boots.
