These wool shoes do stretch quite a bit. Order accordingly. I absolutely love mine.
The shoes arrived two days ago, and I have been wearing them around the house to make sure I want to keep them. I am a size 8 1/2-9, ordered the navy in a 40, and they fit perfectly. At first I didn’t think I would get them on because of my high instep, but a shoehorn helps greatly, and now they go on easily. I have a medium-wide foot, so not sure how they would fit on a narrow foot. I will only be wearing as shoes outside. I can’t imagine spending this much for a pair of slippers, and besides, my dearfoams are much softer. I have knee issues, so shoes are one item that I don’t scrimp on price. As others mentioned, the back, especially on my right foot, rubbed uncomfortably on my heel. I think I took care of that with gel heel protectors. The shoes with the colored uppers and/or colored sole would have more interest, but I choose navy because I will get more use from them. They Seem to be an exceptionally well made shoe.
These shoes are fantastic for winter especially! Cute and stylish!
Hard to get into the first few times but they get easier. Warm/comfortable with some arch support and the sole is good. Love the look & the color-use them mostly as “house” shoes but look good enough to go out. Would buy again.
I live in a cold and snowy climate and I absolutely adore these shoes. Even my teenage daughter gleefully said they were the cutest “ugly” shoes she’d ever seen. She even asked for a pair! They add a hint of fashion to jeans and a sweater. It’s very difficult to find fashionable winter shoes... not sneakers, not boots... These are perfect and I will most likely end up with several colors. I wear a size 7 and have average width feet. The 37 fits me like a dream.
The fit is perfect from the tip of the toe to the heal of the foot. The arch support is great. I’m on my feet all day and this shoe is perfect for that.

I wear these shoes everywhere! They are so comfortable when they are broken in and I plan to get more colors than the two I have now!
