I've been using these shoes for boxing for over a year now and they've been awesome! I was using normal Nike running shoes for years before that, but definitely felt restricted in my lateral movement especially. These shoes have given me so much more freedom in my movement. They're super durable and super comfortable. Still not showing any really significant wear. I also have wide, flat feet, so these were a little tight the first two or three times I wore them, but they will stretch out and conform to your feet. After a few sessions, they're insanely comfortable. GET A SIZE LARGER! I usually wear a size 13, so that's what I ordered at first. But those were way too small. I sent them back and got the size 14, and those fit like a damn glove! I took pictures of them next to my size 13 Vans and my size 13 Nikes for reference. If you have big, wide, flat feet like me and you're looking for good boxing/wrestling shoes that will last, these are a solid choice and a hell of a deal.
Secord or third wrestling season for my son and the shoes are holding up solid. You get what you pay for, when he was younger we purchased the less expensive model and they came apart. Also are good for those with wide feet.
My son loves them. They are well made and supportive.
Bought from my son. We have had to order all of his wrestling shoes and he is a size 10. This is a different styly but same brand wrestling shoe we get for him. Reviews I read recommended buying a size bigger since they run small. We stuck with the same size and it was 1/2 a size to big, possibly 1 full size. Very confusing but it was easy to return and get a half size down before his tournament.
I use them for weight training, squats etc. comfortable during workout but tight to slip on.
Someone walked off with my son's wrestling shoes at a home tournament when we were rolling up mats. I had 72 hours to get him a pair of new shoes and this place did it. Not only a great price for these high-end shoe's they made it to me in no time. There ASICS so not much to say there other than the best shoes out there! (Added) I was reading the other reviews and realized there were lots of comments about the size. We were replacing an ASICS shoe so we knew what to order. That being said ASICS traditionally runs a size smaller so order a size up!
With sons who go through shoe sizes like the daily newspaper, it is always great to find a shoe I can purchase a little big to last a full season. This wrestling shoe did just that. And at $80, the quality was just right.
I had to return these shoes. The look was really nice. Very colorful and sleek. They were too narrow for my feet. I had to order another shoe with a wide width. My normal width is "D."
