I like a quality pair of boots, and although I have to many already, this pair jumped out at me and I made the plunge. They are amazing, my new favorite pair. I'm wearing them almost daily. It took some time for them to wear in properly, but now they're perfection. They feel great, they're easy to lace up, and they are rugged as the day is long. I bought these after a buddy bought himself a pair, and I wasn't about to be left behind. So in essence, two satisfied customers -- for good reason. These boots rock. Highly recommend. A+
Very comfortable and constructed very well. No break in time needed. Would buy again,
These are my 2nd pair of this particular boot. I climb cell phone & radio towers for a living and I cannot imagine doing my job with any other pair of boots. The first set I had abused the shot out of; cuts in the leather, wear and tear on the soles, & worn out shanks. But not once did I oil or treat them in the 3 years of ownership. Grants they lost the waterproofness in the last year of ownership due to cuts in the leather, but nonetheless, hands down the best pair of work boots I’ve ever owned. This pair off amazon are now 6 months old with 7 days of continuous use every week of every month for that time frame. They were performing exactly as my original pair.10 out of 5 would recommend.
I am a lineman needed these boots for work. I wore them for the first week and my feet came out, looking like I had dead feet covered in bruises and blisters. Had to break them in.
The boots came covered in mold. The right boots composite toe is off and digs into my toes. I have a pair that I bought from Boot Country that are soft toed and the most comfortable boots I've ever bought. I would recommend not buying these on Amazon if at all.
If you have to strap hooks on, buy these boots. The first few weeks breaking them in is rough but after that they are worth every penny. The steel shanks make working on hooks a breeze and even though they’re insulated they don't overheat in the summer. A+ purchase and ill be buying another set whenever these wear out
I've been wearing Carolinas for 10 years now and have had two of the Logger models in 8" I stepped up to these lineman due to my profession and felt the added leather would be nice for durability. Upon receiving the boots first glance the boots looked really nice. Putting them on and man they were stiff and I do mean stiff. Automatically I noticed a lean on to the outside of the left boot. Which I thought it was just me. I had my Wife put them on and asked her how they felt. Without telling her of the lean and she commented the same thing. So I knew it wasn't me. I decided to wear the boot thinking it'll settle and maybe some of the cork or foam on the inside just was set funny. Now a year later it still leans and I'm stuck with the boot. Even the tongue leans to the left! On on the one boot the other one is fine! Onto the next issue. They aren't water proof past my ankle. Along with the brass rivet/gusset they have used to attach the outer extra layer of leather has pushed into the boot creating a hole. I've usually gotten 3 years out of my previous pairs and here I am half of that time and they're basically useless. They hurt my feet. Which also never was an issue even with aftermarket insoles and the added issues. It just isn't worth it. I don't know If these are knock offs or just a bad batch I got but for the price I'm very upset. I wear these boots 6 days a week every week if not all 7 days. This is not a working man's boot. I have reached out to seller and no answer back as of yet. Carolina them selves won't do anything because I purchased them here. Be careful yall.
Purchased for my husband, and he wheres size 9 in all shoes and boots, but these were too small. Definitely order a size up. Returned for this reason only.
