Used Amazon wardrobe to try on 5 different boots. These fit, and felt the best. I ordered a half size smaller than sneakers and they fit perfect. As expected with these types of boots, they are hard at first and must be worn to break in to your foot. They are great all around boots.
One year update:My husband works in building maintenance. He is moving constantly moving. He has no issues with the steel toe bothering him when he is squatting. We live where it rains every week, and one year later water has yet to break through the shoes. He is having issues being able to take them on and off because the back of the shoe is so tough it has molded around where you initially stick your heel in. For this reason (tugging off his shoes at the end of the day, it's almost time for new ones. Not sure these are worth the money if they only last a year... but if waterproof interests you, these should be your pick.
Great boot, when they came in the mail I put them on and wore them around the house for a bit. They fit great and wore them to a concert that night to break them in. Was on my feet all night and my feet and body felt great. One thing though you must know your exact foot size when ordering your footwear online so have your feet measured by a professional first. I used to get my boot through a family owened western wear/boot shop. That's how I knew my size but they recently closed.
I buy these for work almost every year. They are waterproof and require minimal break in. Built in plastic shank makes working on ladders very comfortable. I have deformities in both feet and these are the only work boots I have found that allow 16 hour shifts without the accompanying foot/leg cramps.
Even buying the wide width like my husband normally wears this boot tan half an inch narrower and inch shorter than the exact same boot in the same size from last year. We did contact the manufacturer and they said they had changed a few designs on a few of their boots. My husband could not even get his foot down past the ankle. Perhaps we had a mistakes size. Amazon took them back without any issues. The boots themselves were made great. They just didn’t work for us.
These boots are nice but I had to order them a 1/2 size larger so my husband could get them on his foot & then they were a 1/2 size too large on his foot & flop a bit. So they have a narrow shaft.
Work at a lumber mill and on my feet 12 hours a day 5 days a week. I've gone through a lot of different brands of boots and these were not going to work. Especially for 200 bucks.ProsWaterproof true to advertising.Insole was comfortable.Sturdy boot.Looked good.ConsI wore them for a week before sending them back.Toe box was small with safety toe they dont stretch out much.Ankle rubbed on both feet with this socks on causing sores.--------------I think if I was to get a wider boot than just the wide it would have worked ok assuming the rubbing in the ankle went away. But I'm a size 12w and12 double wide wasnt available.
Absolutely love these boots and so comfortable. I am on my feet 8 to 10 hours a day walking around 5 miles a day and these are by far the most comfortable pair of work boots I have ever owned. They last about 18 months being worn 5 days a week 40 to 50 hours a week. I have climb ladders, scaffolding and stairs and feet feel great all day. Heel support starts wearing out after 18 months to 2 years but that's because of how I walk. Very water proof.
