My husband is a tennis shoe guy now that he is retired. I purchased theses for him and he now wears them all the time! They are a great work boot, I love the color, they look Manly, but most of all he says they are so comfortable. He's gotten them wet and no problem with the suede. I even purchased a different style for my Dad and he too loves them. Husband's feet are happy!
Stupid Frickin Comfortable! Seriously though. I bought these because I originaly wanted a pair of BlundStone Chelsea boots and/or Red Back Chelsea boots. But then I watched Rose Anvil on youtube cut all three of these boots in half and these were the clear winner in terms of build quality. I take a lot of time to do research before I buy anything because I'm a Nerd. The leather was extremly soft right out of the box, no break in needed. I did however rub in some Red Wing leather cream right away just for a little bit of added protection, but the leather was very hydrated out the box. There is no need to emedietly oil these. I also have pretty narrow feet and these boots are nice and snug. So if you have wide feet I would stay away from these boots.The one thing I want to know is if the sole will stand the test of time.I will return to update this review... ( If I can get one full year out of these I will buy again. )
These boots are actually truly waterproof. Shortly after I got them I wore them for about 6 hours in torrential rain. Feet stayed dry the whole time.Unfortunately, the leather stinks to high heaven, & they need to be kept outside when not in use. None of my other shoes & boots are like this. Must be something in the tanning process.They also need better insoles. Not much padding with the ones they come with.

The boots fit perfectly right out of the box. (Size 12M). Extremely comfortable we’re not painful during the break in process I have been wearing them each day for 2 weeks. Highly recommend.
These boots fit as expected, unlike the other low cut pair of ARIAT I purchased at the same time and couldn't get my foot into, which I returned. I won't rate it 5 star because only time will tell if they hold up and stay comfortable. Amazon wants you to review asap, sometimes even before you receive them.
These boots are great looking. I loved everything about them except that they are too narrow for me. I need an extra wide width and sadly these don't come in it. I had to return them. But if you don't have wide feet I would highly recommend them, I don't think you'll be disappointed.I don't know why more companies don't carry wider widths, especially these days when everything runs small. They are missing a whole demographic of people. When I read how many people complain about this same issue I know I am not just one of a few people with this problem.Time for all these companies to rethink how the do business and stop their discrimination !
