Boots fit great, true to size (11D). Very comfortable. i wear them for work every day. Boots are waterproof, they held up well through a hard rain. had to walk through about 1/2ft of water with no issues. Good buy.
Excellent boots for wet/cold/slushy weather. So far they have proven completely waterproof when walking in snow/slush and stepping in fairly deep puddles. They are warm enough be worn with regular dress/athletic socks well below freezing. The fit was also spot on, a little tight when I first received them, but have broken in to be extremely comfortable.
Quite a few of my coworkers have these boots and recommended them to me. So far I like them. Though since they were out of the correct size for me I had to order one size bigger. They fit as expected for one size bigger. Pretty comfortable too.
Perfect fit and really comfortable
I have a love/hate relationship with these boots. I normally wear the Men's Heritage Roper (I love Ariats) and these are sort of the same thing except winterized. They are the same "style" as the ropers, but they are waterproof. I think. Haven't really romped in puddles in them but they do alright in wet snow and very wet grass. As far as fit, they are comfy like my ropers and they are quality made and nice looking (except as mentioned in item #1 below) as is customary for Ariats-but-1) They don't come in black. Seriously? How hard is that?2) They have a woven nylon (I assume) lining which I guess is what they mean by "mesh" in the ad. My feet sweat a lot in these unless it's really cold. I know that breathable and waterproof are mutually exclusive, but if the leather is waterproof, why do they need a lining? And if they need a lining, why does it have to be this stuff?3) The tread is not slip resistant in snow but sure is great at tracking stuff into the house anyway!4) I primarily bought these instead of other wet weather boots because I thought I could hop on a horse without having to change, and I can but they are not ideal. Because they have bulkier soles and are lined, the outside dimension is larger and it's a little more work to find a stirrup. Also because of the increased bulk it's tough to keep your heels down comfortably, although this may improve with time.In short they do everything they claim to do, but not quite in the ways I had hoped. When these wear out I'll do some comparison shopping before I commit to another pair.
Already satisfied with these boots. Just buying to replace my husbands yrs old same boots after they have been used and abused. He loves these and we couldnt find them in the stores we normally do . So was thrilled finding them here and in his size. Thank you ariat boot fans here. Only issue i had wasnt amazons fault but our postoffice sent the package from our county to two other states and ended in WV? It delayed the shipment a few days , but just glad to have them.
