I've spent much more money on much less quality of boots. The composite toe makes for tough reliable lightweight safety boot with plenty of ankle and heel support without giving up any flexibility. Extremely waterproof is nice for hosing off boots. reflective on the rear of the boot. Great for when riding motorcycle every little bit of visibility helps. Completely comfortable out of box no break-in period.
Shoe fits great, the right tongue shifts more than I want and the 8" lace up is more patted than I thought. Comfortable but bulky. Overall great shoe. Love it. The black and reflective patches grew on me. Still great shoe
First off, these boots appear to be very well made with quality material. The only downside is that they run a little small. However, even though the toe area is a bit tight these boots are pretty comfortable. If you are looking at buying these I’d recommend going a half size larger. Other than that I’m sure these boots will last a few years with everyday use. I am eager to see how long they stay waterproof.
Great boot, very comfortable. Worn 5 days a week working for the railroad repairing tracks
Wasn’t a fan of composite toe box it rubbed my big toe to much. Would be a great boot if it didn’t have that feature.
Great fit, just as expected. One item that really surprised me is the twisted laces. Fought with laces coming untied all the time unless double knotted, haven't had this issue at all.
I wear these boots 8+ hours per day in all types of conditions. They are very comfortable and durable.
I’ve been waiting to wear these for good amount of time before writing a review, I’m now going into my third year wearing these and still going. I work as plumber in south Texas, I’ve literally put these boots thru some Sh!t. I couldn’t be more please with a work boot. After wearing these for 22 months the laces started wear out, but are still keeping the boots on my feet.ProsWater proofing is legit, I’ve stood ankle deep in raw sewage and feet stay dry. And I still trust the seal after almost 3 years.Very tuff leather, steel toe boots always wear on the toe for me, as I crawl a lot on rough surfaces, within a few months and these have lasted well past that. Plus I ride a Harley daily and have had other boots wear from shifting gears, these boots just have a shiny spot.Comfortable, they were comfy right out of the box and did not require a lengthy break in timeConsHot on feet, do the excellent waterproofing your feet will get hot especially in south Texas heat waves, but as a plumber I’ll take hot feet as opposed to soakedLaces wore quick, but that usually happened on most boots. The eyelets and hooks could be designed a bit less abrasiveA touch on the heavy side, but this is a large boot with thick heavy duty leather so some extra weight is expected. I would imagine if it had steel for the toe it would much worse, so let be thankful for the composite toe. These cons are the reason for one star deduction, but these boots are well worth what I paid for them. I would have cleaned the boots off for the picture I left but that would be unrealistic to the amounts of torture I put these boots thru.Plumber approved!
