I love nearly everything about these shoes. The only issue is that they run at least a half size too long. I would say my shoe length is size 8 at least 95% of the time. In the rare cases when a size 8 doesn’t fit, I end up getting an 8.5 instead. Whenever a size 8 feels too large and I try sizing down, 7.5 is too short and the real problem is that I have narrow feet (hence my hunting for narrow sized shoes on Amazon). I even have another pair of Aravon shoes that I ended up exchanging for a size 8.5 because they were a little too short. As a result, I was very surprised when this pair of size 8N shoes fit me more like an 8.5 or 9 in length. I love the shoes themselves, and they’re otherwise very comfortable. I really wanted to exchange them for a 7.5N, but that size was not available. The price happened to be quite low at the time I purchased these, so I still kept the size 8 shoes because it’s easier to address shoes that are slightly too long than the other way around.
The most comfortable dress shoe I ever owned. I have a very wide foot apparently, other brands claim to be extra wide but would only fit me if I cut off my little toe. My foot measures 4 inches wide at the widest part, stepping on a tape measure. The 2 EE was a perfect width!!!! I just wish they would make more styles this wide. Also I wear a size 6 1/2 and it was a real 6 1/2.
The quality of the shoe seemed fine, but holy smokes was the style unattractive and matronly on my fat feet. Some reviews have called this look "retro," and maybe it is on a thinner foot - but on wide feet, I would call it "dated."
Didn't like the fit. One shoe fit larger than the other. Although listed as the same size, one insole was a lighter black than the other. The way they fit seemed as if each belonged to another pair the same size. Added additional insole to one shoe, not helpful. Heelbed of problem shoe appeared higher than the other. Looks nice, Bad fit.
Attractive shoe. Very comfortable. I wish they had more styles in An 8EE width.
Like so many online matches, this one didn't live up to its photos. I should've swiped left.I wish they'd had an image of the shoe on a model or mannequin foot, because there's no frame of reference for this shoe. When I opened the box, I was shocked by the scale of the shoe. I have big feet, but this was more than just long. They are voluminous! I was really disappointed by the appearance, since the reviews were so flattering. I really thought they would be sensible but attractive office shoes. I like animal prints and quirky designs, but this shoe is nowhere near my cup of tea. Though you could probably fit a big gulp in each one ;)It seems like an okay quality shoe, but the fit was poor. I got a 13B. The length of the shoe seemed at least a half size too small, but the rest of the shoe was oddly boxy. Maybe this is normal in a support shoe, but I've never owned a pair. I also expected more cushioning in the footbed. The return was easy, which was nice.
I have a high instep and high bridge, this shoe is perfect for my foot. Comfortable to wear all day.
I was not sure about these as they looked a bit "granny", but I needed a smart shoe to wear with dressy slacks. I was pleasantly surprised: while the shoes do look "granny" on their own, when they are on they look very smart and stylishly retro. I am wide across the toes but narrow in the heel and these shoes fit well without slipping, and while I can't wear high heels due to back problems these are high enough to be dressy without difficulty. The shoes also are deep enough to take my orthotic inserts.
