Ordered the suede at a huge discount. The shoes seem fine. Material, construction and stitching seems good. There are tiny (glue?) stains on the suede but nothing serious or obvious. Fit is perfect. There is a pungent smell that is not leather. I would guess it's glue. I had to air it for a bit. The smell remains but that should not bother me when I'm wearing this very fine pair.Btw. This is really dark navy. Almost black indoors.
Shoes arrived early. The quality is not that of regular Allen Edmond shoes. Material and build quality is simply not there.Notwithstanding the quality is proportional to the price.
The shoes I received were a complete fraud. I ordered Allen Edmonds Wooster Street Penny Loafers. They came in what looked like a phony or used Allen Edmonds shoe box. The shoes were very low quality, the wrong size, and said they were made in China in an obscure spot in the interior of the shoe. Allen Edmond shoes are made in the USA not China and they are normally of high quality. The inside of the shoes were not even finished. This was very disappointing to say the least.
