I adore my shoes. Unike another brand that starts with a D, these are so comfy inside. After time the foot bed comforms to the shape of your foot, plus they have plenty of toe wiggling room. As I am on my feet for 12 hours at a time, those are the most important attributes of a shoe, whether it is for work or play. This brand also gives me cute designs and patterns which allow me to express myself, and have what I call, "happy feet"!I must say that my black ones with the up raised roses tend to be my most favorite pair as they have not got the Mary Jane strap, which seems to be stretching out on a few pairs.I purchased 5 pairs in a week, thankfully my hubby reigned me in.Will continue to purchase!
I love Alegria shoes. This is my 3rd pair. I have been a nurse for 20 years and they are the BEST nursing shoes that I have owned. I love them so much I even wear them on the weekends. I can go 12+ hours without my legs or back hurting. The Paloma shoes are perfect for my feet, which are very wide. I plan on making all my work and shoe purchases Alegria shoes whenever possible. My patients love the cute designs.
These shoes deliver much more than their promises. They are simply fabulous in categories that matter most to my feet, wallet and versatility usefulness with my wardrobe. Expect fun to look at footwear that are even more fun as you walk about in their comfort and appealing looks. I'm surprised about the high quality stitching, leather softness and at this price... they still have balance & arch support construction that is amazingly happy for feet. I don't usually praise footwear with an abundance of adjectives... these shoes deserve it.Get ready for many compliments when you wear them publicly... children point to them because they "look happy" and bright; women and teens occasionally ask "Where did you get your shoes? And, are they as comfortable as they look?" Better than their online picture... these multicolored happy flowers brighten my mood as I slip into them... and brighten many, many pieces in my wardrobe... what's not to like? Take care when you order... these are my 2nd pair of Alegria clogs... both are true-to sz. This is another bonus since I usually have width problems when converting from Euro to USA sizing. LOVE my new shoes. I work in the operating room and they are extremely comfortable. My feet no longer hurt and my knee pain is down. The first week they hurt and are uncomfortable, but as soon as they start to form to your feet they are the most comfortable shoes you will ever wear. Only takes a week or two to get them fitted to your feet. Only negative is they scratch very easy. Be very carefully not to scoot things with your shoe, especially If you wear these in OR. The mayo stand scratched the whole front of them, the first day wore them.
I recommend these shoes if you are on your feet for hours while at work. Please give them a try. Your toes and feet will thank you. I have owned these shoes for more than one year and they look and wear great. People tell me they can not tell that these are not new shoes. These shoes wear well and have a removable sole. I have a high arched foot and these work well for my feet and I have been at a job working on my feet for more than 15 years. Give this brand a try.
I've owned many pairs of these because they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I work in healthcare and am on my feet a lot. I also have feet that need good arch support. These are the only shoes I buy for work now. I love that they come in all sorts of designs, so I can always switch it up and not feel like I am wearing the same exact shoes for years on end.
This is the 4th pair of this style of Allegrias I have purchased. They changed the way they are making them. The edge that hits up from my big toe cuts down into my foot. I was hoping they would stretch out, but they are creating a lump on each of my feet. They are very comfy in the length and width. The top just cuts down into my foot, something that never happened with my other 3 pairs. I fear I will have to toss them, very expensive. No more Allegrias for me
I posted a review soon after purchasing these shoes stating it did not matter that I accidentally ordered a wide shoe. Now that I have worn them for several months I need to amend my review that you should not order a wide if you do not gave a wide foot. I now need to tighten up Velcro more frequently than my other regular size Mary Janes and the shoes are developing a bend in them at the top of my big toe. Still love the comfort! Also bought a pair of Red Bloom and the pattern is scratching off after 6 wears but my Yayoubetchas pattern is fine and I bought those first.
