When it comes to finding a reliable work shoe, the Alegria Shift Lead Soar stands out thanks to its thoughtful design tailored specifically for professionals like nurses, teachers, retail workers, and hospitality staff. The mesh upper not only provides breathability but also accommodates the natural swelling that occurs in your feet during long hours of standing.
The hands-free slip-on feature, complemented by the back loop, makes it incredibly easy to put on and take off, which is a significant advantage for busy days. Those who have tried numerous footwear solutions will appreciate the built-in arch support. This support remains consistent throughout the day, ensuring that you remain comfortable even after hours on your feet.
Cleaning is hassle-free due to the removable footbed, allowing you to maintain hygiene effortlessly. Plus, the rocker outsole is specifically designed to improve pressure distribution from heel to toe, which can be a game changer when wearing shoes for long shifts.
While there are many benefits, it's worth noting that the fit can sometimes feel larger than expected, so it may require some adjustment from users who are between sizes. Additionally, while the shoe is stylish, options in terms of color might be somewhat limited compared to other brands.

Alegria is always my go to shoe brand! I have multiple issues as far as shoes go. Arthritis in my feet, knees and back, issues on the ball of foot, blah blah. It makes finding shoes for different activities challenging. I stand all day at work, and I have three dogs in an apartment that require 3 or 4 walks a day. Moderate arch support, and cush are must haves for the feet, solid rocker soles for the knees and back. That's a lot of verbiage, but it's all to say that these shoes do a really good job of checking all of those boxes! At first I thought they felt really odd, but I've had them a few weeks now and they're great! Waterproof and warm too! I've been walking around on snow and ice (with cleats on them) and single digit wind chill with no socks and my feet have been warm and comfortable. For 15 or 20 minutes at a time anyway. I can slip my foot in while standing, even with high (bone spur high) insteps. You will not regret this shoe, even if it is the ugly duckling in the closet! Runs slightly larger than standard Alegria size
This shoe is a great walking shoe.It runs a little large. I sized up because most of the time the Alegria size 42 has been a little short in the toe. This style is more true to size. If you have large feet, this style is not flattering. If you care more about a comfortable walking shoe, this is a great shoe.
Hopefully will last long, true to size, nice pattern. I love the arch support that’s what I look for, a bit on the expensive side but hey they’re slip resistant too!
These were recommended by the Alegria CSR as having a similar fit to the Classics that I already own. To be on the safe side, I sized up - width was great until the toebox. It's never good when you take a shoe off and find your big toe on top of the next toe, LOL. I will stick to their foot shaped shoes.Dinged on the return shipping from Canada. Lesson learned.
Very comfortable. Good traction for winter walking very happy so far
The shoes are literally coming apart at the seams. My 18 yo daughter is a tiny little thing with size 8 average feet. The shoes have become unglued al around the edges and the material has separated. You’d think at this price point they’d last more than 3 months.
I have worn Alegria for work for over 8 years. These are comfortable but wish they had a round toe box. Have not been able to wear them out and about yet but fit and feel good in home.
Well the got to me about 3 days late. The shoes were too small. One shoe fit the other too tight
