The Alegria Duette nursing shoe is a remarkable blend of style and functionality tailored specifically for healthcare professionals who spend long hours on their feet. With its innovative features and sleek design, this shoe not only prioritizes comfort but also keeps you feeling confident and professional.

The Alegria Duette stands out as an optimal choice for nursing and healthcare professionals due to its thoughtful design and practicality. It features a slip-resistant sport rocker outsole that promotes consistent energy levels by ensuring balanced weight distribution. This is particularly beneficial during long shifts where foot fatigue can be a concern.
In terms of style, the Duette merges elegance with everyday usability. Its polished black finish looks great in any professional setting, while the double elastic gore provides convenience, enabling quick changes without compromising comfort. You’ll appreciate how easy it is to slip them on and off during hectic moments at work.
When it comes to shock absorption, the dual-density outsole assures you won’t feel every step. Instead, it offers a cushioned experience, allowing you to stay focused on your tasks rather than discomfort in your feet. Furthermore, the stain-resistant upper makes these shoes practical for the demanding environment of healthcare, where spills are inevitable.
The customizable comfort is another noteworthy aspect; the removable footbed can easily accommodate orthotic inserts or provide additional cushioning based on your preference. This adaptability makes the Alegria Duette suitable for a variety of foot shapes and conditions.
However, it's worth noting that some users have reported needing a brief break-in period to achieve optimal comfort levels, so patience might be necessary initially. Additionally, the limited color palette may not appeal to everyone looking for more vibrant options.

I can't tell you just how much I love these shoes! So comfortable that I can almost forget my platar faciitis! Perfect support for long days at the hospital!
These are my second pair of these particular shoes. My first pair made it throgh over a year of 12 hour nursing shifts. I like them more than the other styles of shoe Allegria makes. I like especially that the portion against the top of your foot is padded and flexible. They are true to size.
While visiting a hospital I asked the nurses what shoe was the best for standing on your feet for a full shift. They agreed this was the best shoe and that it offered the best support. I have to completely agree. I have no pain or discomfort after standing on my feet all night long. I buy a new pair about every 6 to 8 months.
Absolutely love this shoe! I have Dankso, Softwalk, different Alegria styles and just about every tennis shoe known to nursing and nothing can compare to these. Great arch support, comfortably bouncy footbed, plenty of stretch where you need it and very lightweight. I'm giving 4 stars because after about 6 months the patent leather started to peel and crack. I work 12+ hour shifts in an ICU constantly "kicking" equipment and beds so I wasn't shocked to see this as it's happened in the past with other brands. A six month lifespan is worth it to me for this level of comfort so I went for another pair, trying out a black matte style this time to avoid patent peeling.
I purchased these shoes because they were recommended for someone suffering from planter's fasciitis. The 1st time I wore them to work I had almost no pain for the entire day! As soon as I came home and took them off putting on other shoes, I began hurting again. They are comfortable and stylish and do what I need them to do. The size was accurate and exactly what I expected. I will absolutely purchase these again!
The soles didn't match and one was so big in the arch that it was painful. I tried to get a refund but couldn't. These shoes are too expensive to not get a refund and the seller completely ignored me.
***Update June 3, 2021: Welp, my hopes were in vain for a higher quality outer material. It’s only been a few weeks, and the outer material is already wearing off at the toes. Very disappointing given this price point, and I’ve updated from five stars to three. I don’t think I’ll get another pair of these once this pair wears out.***This is my second pair of the Duette. This shoe has been an absolute savior for my feet through hundreds of 12-hour shifts in the MICU. The sole offers some softness for shock absorption, which is essential for dealing with my plantar fasciitis, but the sole is also very supportive. There is no part of my foot that feels unsupported or out of alignment while wearing these. I feel like my weight is properly distributed. The bottom of the shoe has a sort of rocker shape, which makes the natural walking movement nice and easy. I also like that the shoe fits on the heel rather than being the style that flops back and forth as you walk (like some clogs). If these shoes have a fault, I'd say they are a little warm. However, I used to wear fully rubber clogs, and these are much cooler by comparison, so I'm happy. They don't seem to develop much of a smell, either, but I do spray them with a shoe disinfectant at least weekly to keep them clean and fresh.I will also say that the Flourish Black the first time, and the shiny outer material peeled off at the toe pretty quickly, but they still lasted over a year before I decided to get another pair. This time, I got the Iron design, and it seems as though the outer material will last longer on this design.
I wear a size 9 Reg, and the arche support in this shoe gives my archless feet just the support I need. Just returned from a 3 mile walk with my dogs. I put them on immediately and OMG. I'm wearing them now to recover from my walk!:)
