Aerosoles Women's Betunia Loafer, Black Fabric, 5 M US Review

These shoes are great and super comfortable to walk in...if you get the right size. I'm a 6 and bought two pairs of the Begunia shoes from Amazon, both in size 6, one in spotted tan (this listing), and another (in a separate item listing) in a white/tan stripe.The white/tan stripe fit perfectly, but these are too small. I'll be attempting to exchange them for a 6.5 tomorrow, because they are REALLY cute and comfortable. At least, the pair that does fit is comfortable. :-)My feet are a bit difficult because they're wider toward the toe but narrow at the heel, so neither regular nor wide width shoes ever fit 100% how I want, and I am pretty particular with my shoes. I also have very high arches. These are much more supportive than most other flats I own, or possibly ANY flats I own. I'm a tip-toe walker who is actually more comfortable in low heels than flats, but I usually don't want to wear heels to work, so these are perfect! They are also crazy affordable on Amazon, to the point where I was pretty considered they'd be fakes. As far as I can tell, though, they are authentic. I will probably buy them in several colors and patterns!

I just ordered my third pair of these shoes, and I absolutely love them. They are available in so many great colors and are probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned - definitely the most comfortable flats. I have a hard time with flat shoes for a couple of reasons: first of all, they often give me blisters on the back of my heel for some reason; not a problem with this shoe. Also, I have sciatica problems, even though I'm young, and some flats just don't offer enough support. These are great though; I could wear them every day. They fit true-to-size; however, as with most Aerosoles shoes, I'd suggest orderig a wide if you're unsure which width to choose.As far as looks, they are just right. I get asked all the time if they were made a famous designer or fashion house, and ladies are always surprised when they find out they're Aerosoles. I have them in gold (goes with everything), leopard print, and studded black. They look expensive and are made well.Regardless of your age, I recommend these shoes. They are for ladies of all ages and styles! This is a classic style that will always be in, and with so many colors to choose from, you can't go wrong.

Weirdly, these different colors and patterns fit differently. The gray lace fit fine- a little tight, but then I have a D width foot. I can squeeze into this, but I couldn't wear it all day- just for dinner out. The gold brocade didn't fit at all. SO tight I could barely get my foot in. The navy print with the soft, cotton like fabric, is the most comfortable. Weird. Just know going in that they fit differently, and maybe you will get one or two that work for you. They are pretty shoes. They are not terribly well made.

I am a true size 7m, but I had to exchange my size 7 order for a 7.5, as the 7 was a little tight all around. Going up an extra 1/2 size made a huge difference in the comfort factor and overall fit, as it gave my toes a little more room to spread. The quality of the fabric is great and feels just like calf hair. The pattern is a true, spotted leopard. The sole is thin and flexible, but surprisingly cushiony. I literally wipe them right out of the box and walked THREE miles to/from work on concrete pavement. The best part is Shoe Metro refunded me 50% of the original purchase price, because the 7.5 pair that I ordered was almost double the price of the size 7 pair. A pricing error which they, and Amazon, immediately corrected. Excellent customer service all around!

SUPER COMFY SHOE and I have bunions but sizes AND prices vary a lot, be careful! I ordered my regular size 10W but of the 3 colors/style (red snake, pewter &white fabric) only white fabric fit, perfectly. When I went to reorder another pair of pewter the price was immense going up 1/2 size, from $27.44 for size 10W to $69.00 for size 10 1/2W! When I contacted customer service they did nothing but raise the size 10W to $69.00! I explained not my fault that the shoes are all cut different, where the same size/style all fit differently. As it turns out the red snake that I ordered in 10 1/2W after the 10W was too small, the new size 10 1/2W is too big! When I held the 3 original pair up against each other they were all different so although they are comfortable if you find one that fits, the fit is wacky! Shame on Aerosoles! Here is how I finally settled: the white fabric size 10W fit perfect the red snake will never fit right since the size 10W is too small and hurt the next size 10 1/2W slip off my feet and the third pair pewter I refused to pay up from $27.44 to $69.00 for 1/2 size, just not good business so I chose another color (light pink which is not pink but looks tan) in a size 10 1/2 W ($39.99) and they fit but a little snug. When I reordered I also chose the black sequin @ $17.21 in a size 10 1/2W and they fit good. Even though I pointed out the discrepancy in sizes and stated I should not be charged to ship back shoes I wanted, Amazon in their wisdom charged me to ship them back. I hope this review helps someone and I hope Amazon wises up, there are other outlets to buy from and more opening all the time, it is wrong to unfairly treat a good customer.

I love the shoe. I ordered the 11 wide. Typically 11 W shoes fit me, although I am a 10 1/2 W truly. I have ordered the 10 1/2 wide in this shoe (kudos to Aerosoles for actually acknowledging (1) that 10 1/2 is a true size, and that (2) sizes over 10 can use a wide - most shoe manufacturers don't have this belief). I am waiting to test it, before determining which shoe I will keep. If I keep the size 11, I will put a heel pad in it, otherwise it would be a bit loose.That said - the shoe is terrific. Better than expected. Love the color, love the look. The sequins are tiny and matte; the shoe looks dressy without being garish, and since I have pretty much given up heels, and go exclusively with closed shoes, this is a godsend for those times when I need a look other than athleisure.

I needed some flats that were comfortable and a bit stylish. Love most Aerosoles, and this design fits well, can be worn thru the day, and look good with nearly everything. I like them.
